3) School is back

Jinora's POV
I woke up early and started getting ready for school.
I had to go in early because I was to show a new person around school.

I changed into my school clothes. I wore a black high waisted pleated skirt, a fitted shirt, the school tie, tights, heeled lace up ankle boots, a little make up and I put my hair up in a half up half down bun.
I went down stairs where my sibling were eating breakfast, Grabbing my school bag and my coffee cup, then went out to the car and waited for my brother and sister to get into the back of seat of the car.

We dropped Melo off at his school before going to Ikki and I's.

I went to my locker to drop off some books then headed to the office.

Something gave me the feeling that I had already met the new kid.
The head teacher and the new kid came out of their office a minute later and I was right, it was Kai.
But today he looked different, the last two times I had seen him, he wore just plain every day clothes but today I finally had a chance to get a good look at him.
Kai had emerald green eyes, brown hair that was shaved around the sides, dark tanned skin, he was tall and quite buff looking, he wore black trainers, jeans, a shirt and tie, he looked really smart...

well at least for the next 30 seconds.
As soon as we had left the office into the hallway, he undid his shirt and tie, messed up his hair showing in fact the he wore ripped jeans and put on his jacket.
"So I am a complete idiot!" He said smiling at me,
"Probably, but Explained?" I said starting the tour,
"Well turns out your not just some random girl but like the princess of Republic City," he said seriously following me closely,
"Oh don't start that!" I rolled my eyes walking a head of him,
"What?"
"That's exactly what Suki calls me and it's not true," I said annoyed,
"So it isn't you grandfather's statue we can see out the front?" He asked giving me a cheeky smile.
I didn't answer I just grumble looking down the hall.

"So what class do you have first?" I asked changing the subject,
"Ummm English," he said taking out his time table to show me,
"Oh, that's good, I have Politics so I can drop you off on the way... but good luck because Mr Ling isn't very nice," I explained continuing to show him around the school building.

*RING!*
"Okay this is your class, good luck!" I smiled leaving.
I walked to my class at the back Opal had saved me a seat.
Our teacher was new and couldn't make the mart board work so they just got us to do copy from the workbook.

I told Opal all about Kai.
"Ooooo! If I didn't know any better I'd think you liked him!" She whispered nudging me excitedly,
"No! I do not have a crush on him!" I whispered back firmly,
"Fine whatever. So your friends with Bolin right?" She asked blushing,
"Opal Baifong, are you asking me to set you up with Bolin?" I asked excited,
"Maybe. You spend the summer hanging out with him, did he mention me?" She asked making a pleading face.

*Thinking back to the summer:
"Hey! Jinora is Opal single in any way?" Bolin had asked similar questions to this the entire summer.*

"He might have asked about you once or twice!" I lied
"Really!" She said excitedly.

Opal spent the rest of the double lesson talking about Bolin.

I took my phone out half way through to text Korra for advice on how to set the two of them up, since it was obvious that they liked each other.
Then I met up with Suki and we went to Chemistry, which Kai was also in.

(The head teacher had told me that Kai was a trouble maker and that I should keep an eye on him, just in case😳)

We took our seat at the back of the class and Kai sat next to... Skoochy. Who was right in front of us.
Kai winked at me as he sat down.
"And who is that?" Suki asked seeing him sit down as I put on my glasses,
"Kai, he's new!" I said grabbing a notebook and pen out of my bag,
"Wait isn't he the guy that knocked you over the other day?" She said a little quieter,
"Yup!"
"What a fortunate turn of events. A cute boy who knocked you over also happens to be the new boy at our school," she said nudging me,
"What is it with you and Opal trying to set me up," I said rolling my eyes,
"Well we just think you should date... I have Lin, Opal will hopefully have Bolin, why not you?" She asked,
"Small problem with your plan," I said starting to write down notes,
"Which is?"
"My father... you know how strict he is! Dating is off limits till I'm at least 30," I explained,
"Dramatic much!" She murmured rolling her eyes,
"I wish I was!" I said seriously,
