Falling Star

Pitch Black.

JAMES POV

I have absolutely no idea where I am. My cell phone is in my car and I feel far far away from home. I'm sick to my stomach and all I want is Bailey. It's been days since I have even seen a human. But it's only been a matter of minutes since I heard a humans voice.

I applied for a part time job at Petes Pizza. I'm the delivery guy and I hate driving at night. I just needed some extra money for spending. It was 8:30 on a Friday night and a order got called in for a 16" sausage mushroom pizza. They gave me the address so I drive off with the pizza using my GPS on my phone to get there. It turns out to be a dead end though.... I get out of the car leaving my phone in there. "Hello? Anyone order a sausage mushroom pizza.."? I felt ridiculous. It pitch black out and I'm basically asking the wind if they ordered a pizza. That's where I'm confused. I wake up and try opening my eyes but it's impossible. I'm in an inclosed area and it's hotter than a deep fryer. Ok, maybe not that hot but you get my point. I hear two men arguing out side... But I'm tied up. I feel wet tears dripping down my face. I can't live this way... I need Bailey.

A door slowly opens and I see a little bit of light through whatever is over my eyes. But a shadow of a human.. Tall and slim is covering the light. Their barely moving.... But I'm shaking like crazy. What am I suppose to do? Scream for help? That's not going to get me anywhere. If anything, that will get me in even more trouble. Below my eye is stinging way worse than a bee sting. Did I get punched? I'm starving. I'm over dehydrated. I need help ASAP.

Is this guy ever going to feed me? Or is he going to let me die in a closet or whatever I'm even in. I'm so afraid of what could happen. There isn't any positive things to this.. Unless he gets caught, locked up behind bars, and no one bails him out.

Sorry for the short and intense chapter! I know I left you all at a big cliff hanger last chapter and so many other people were telling me to update so... Here it is!
