Today was the day I have been waiting for. HOMECOMING! Kaylee had a date also. The guy she had been crushing on for a while now. His name was Jake. He had blonde hair, he was about Kaylee's height and he had brown eyes. She thought he would never ask her. She was totally surprised. James and I have been hanging out for a very long time now I love him so much. He would do anything and everything with me. I came to school this morning to him standing right by my locker. I give him a hug, he kissed my cheek and I told him I was so happy to see him. He was very excited for tonight and so was I. I Open my locker and it was full of sticky notes from him. Here are what some said

He was so cute. For him not having a girlfriend before, he's amazing. Kevin wouldn't have never done this. I think we officially won the cute couple award. Or he at least wins the best/cutest boyfriend award. He told me I reminded him of the song "Mine Would Be You" by Blake Shelton. By the way, James was an amazing singer. He started singing our song

"Mine would be youuuuu, sun kissed shining, back road flying singing like crazy fools"

Then I started to join him. So now we were both singing our song.

He was too cute. School ended and I was driving James over to my place to get ready. Kaylee and I both came out with our dresses on and I thought James got knocked out. He couldn't believe it. "Omg.. You two are... Are... Gorgeous.." We both looked at each other and laughed. James was In His suit and had a coral color tie on. I told him he was so handsome. We grabbed our purses and went off to get Jake. Then we went over to the beach to get our pictures taken. They were as cute as any other homecoming picture.. Maybe cuter.

We headed over to school where homecoming was being held. There was an after party that everyone was welcome to. We got into the school and walked into the room. Everyone was already dancing away. James took my hand and we walked over there and started dancing. Kaylee was having a blast with Jake. She was smiling so much and laughing. I was also having the best time of my life.

About 3 hours later, they announced that we weren't suppose to drive home if we were tired. So I drove James, Kaylee, and Jake over to the after party. James and I just sat outside on the swings talking about our lives. I liked being able to talk to someone who understood. We kissed for a while and then I just rested my head on his shoulder. There were tears going down my face. I didn't know why. Maybe there were tears of happiness? I'm not sure. But I am so happy to call James my boyfriend and best friend in the whole wide world.
