Okay couple things, I am not making a whole new sequel what I am going to do is just start the sequel with this book so maybe at like chapter 40 it will be the epilogue and then the chapter after will be the first chapter to the sequel. It may sound confusing now but trust me it will make sense once you see it.

Chapter 37

Sam's POV:

"Had a little episode, pup?" Someone asked. I looked up at Joey and groaned flopping my head back down. I would be up on my feet when she would talk to me but my body was just so exhausted. She bent down and grabbed my hair and pulled my head back.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Studying your face." She said bluntly. Joey was very blunt and to the point.

"Why?" I asked frowning. As I said that she leaned forward and pressed her lips to mine. I raised my eye brows and I suddenly felt a surge of energy. She pulled away and stared at me.

"You have nice lips and I wanted to see how soft they were." She said smiling.

"You could have asked."

"I don't ask. I do." She smirked letting go of my head. As she did someone came running and yelling.

"Where is Alpha Ryder? Or Beta Andrew?" A scout asked frantically. Ryder stepped out with his mate Brooklyn behind him.

"What is it Alex?" He demanded.

"Vampires have crossed the line." He said surprised.

"They broke the treaty?" Andrew whispered.

"What do they want?" Ryder asked.

"The hybrid." He said, Andrew came down and helped me up.

"Come with us." He ordered quietly. I walked behind him and the Alpha and Joey walked silently beside me.

"They won't take him back, they probably want to see who has him." Ryder said to Andrew as we walked towards the treaty line. The line wasn't far at all.

"Do you think they want a fight?"

"Maybe. Probably to get back at us for changing him." Ryder shrugged. I smelt a familiar scent and I stopped walking, everyone turned and looked back at me confused.

"Are you alright, Sammy?" Joey asked.

"I know who it is." I said looking to the alpha. He lifted an eyebrow waiting to hear what else I had to say.

"It is the vampires I used to reside with. There isn't many of them so I do not think they will fight." I said. He nodded and we continued walking and pushed through to the treaty line.

"Sammy." Rick said standing with Lisa and Veronica. I didn't say anything as I stood next to Andrew.

"You crossed the line." Ryder said.

"Yea like you did to us." Rick said back.

"We did not. Blackwood company is allowed to go where they please without permission." Andrew explained.

"Oh yea, because you and Ryder are apart of Blackwood." Rick scoffed, he knew Andrew and Ryder? I frowned confused.

"Actually Richard, Elizabeth is apart of Blackwood." Who is Elizabeth? And how does Ryder know my brothers full name?

"I came to see what happened to Sam. I didn't know he was bit." Rick said staring at me.

"He was. When you guys crossed into our territory and kidnapped my daughter." Ryder said angrily.

"So you take him into your pack? Even though he helped kidnapped your daughter?" Veronica asked.

"My mate decided his fate. Vampires don't take hybrids. We do. We forgive his mistakes and Ella assured us he did no harm to her. He has also been training with Ryder and has found a mate." Ryder explained. A mate? I did?

I felt someone lace their fingers with mine and I looked down at Joey who smiled while looking away. I smiled back and squeezed her hand.

"Her, Sam?" Veronica said disgusted.

"Watch your mouth. You are on our land." Joey snapped.

"Joey." Ryder warned and she stopped.

"My apologies, uncle." She said and I stared shocked. Uncle? Why am I learning all these new and interesting facts?

"Look, Ryder I just came to see if Sammy was alright. Okay?" Rick said sincerely.

"I respect that." Ryder said and nodded to him. I walked over and gripped Rick's hand who pulled me into a tight hug. I was taller than him so he had to reach up.

"I love ya, Sammy. Be safe please." He whispered.

"I promise, Rick." He pulled back and patted my cheek.

"Be good, Sammy." He said sadly. He turned and walked back over the line and into the vampire territory. 

Ryder and Andrew walked away and Joey stood behind me.

"Ryder is my uncle. He killed my dad after he was corrupted."

"Corrupted?" I asked.

"By a power demon. A demon of ambition possessed him. He had no choice but to kill him. No one knows the truth except me and him...Well now you." She explained.

"How does he know my brother?" I asked.

"The treaty lines were only made twenty years ago, Sam." She began.

"So? They were friends?" I asked.

"They went to school together. It was a time when all fantastic creatures went to school together." She explained. I nodded and stayed quiet until she spoke up again.

"He knew you were my mate. An alpha can sense mates. Your mating instincts are not as strong because you are only a young werewolf." She explained. I turned back as she sat on a rock and I walked over laying my hands beside her body. I leaned I close to her face and grabbed her chin.

"You're cute, Joe." I said.

"Joe? I am not a boy." She said and I smirked. I pressed my lips to hers and she stood up wrapping her arms around my neck.

"You're cute too, Sammy." She smiled.
