Bakugo's pov

*background

    I started learning to flip when I was five. I always loved it, but some kids teased me for it before I got my quirk ( I don't know when bakugo got his quirk). Once I got my quirk, I quickly shut them up, but I was afraid to tell anyone ever since then. That experience did teach me one thing if you act tuff and mean, people will leave you alone. So that is what I have done since then. I don't like to be mean, but I do it to protect myself, and I know it is not a big secret but if someone were to find out, I would be terrified because they could easily turn against me and tease me for it.

I woke up to my alarm going off. I groaned as I slowly got up and hit my alarm clock. I looked at the time and saw it was 7:20. I had 40 minutes to get ready. I went ahead and quickly showered and got dressed, and brushed my teeth.

Die germs; I screamed (sorry, I think this is so funny)

After I was done getting ready, I looked at the time and saw I only had 10 minutes to get to class, and the building was 15 minutes away. I grabbed my bag and ran out the door. I was super excited because today we would do field training, and I will blast all of those nerds. I felt thrilled, and to go ahead and warm myself up, I did 10 handsprings back to back on the sidewalk. After I finished, I shook my head and sprinted to school with a smile on my face.

Once I saw the entrance to an, I quickly got rid of my sile, making sure no one noticed, and put my regular annoyed face with a scowl on. I then walked to class with both my hands in my pocket. When I got to the door, I blasted it open, calling everyone's attention inside. I then yelled, "what are you looking at, losers" and headed back to my seat. As usual, Kirishima came up to me but this time, what he said piqued my interest.

"hey bakugo did you hear what we are doing at training today," he said with his usual bright smile.

"no, what are we doing today, crappy hair," I said, rolling my eyes.

" We have to try to make it across a minefield," he said, jumping up and down.

I was a little surprised because that could hurt many students, but I mean, this was Aizawa, and he could care less. I actually don't think he could care any less. I knew that I could get through the minefield, but to do it, I would need to do gymnastics, and I don't want to get teased again as much as it does not seem like it. I really like these idiots, especially the bakusquad, and if they were to tease me, it would really get to me.

About 3 minutes later, Mr.Aizawa came in.

"ok, problem children, as you know, we are going to be doing field day, and as I am sure you heard, you have to try to make it through a minefield. I would also like to add that no hero has made it through without setting off one boom." Mr.Aizawa said with a straight face like that would not scare us.

We all slowly made our way out of the building and onto the field ( i know they change into their uniforms or costumes, but go ahead and assume they did). You could feel the tension from everyone; even todoroki seemed nervous, and that guy is basically emotionless.

"ok, everyone, I need you to stop because this is where the minefield begins," said Mr.Aizawa

we all stared in shock cause you could not even tell from looking straight at that there were bumps in the ground, but if you turned your head to the side, you could see small spots on the territory. Everyone's nervousness only got worse when Mr.Aizawa told everyone they could not use their quirks. Everyone started to back up when they saw Mr.Aizawa scan the crowd.

"ok, first up, is izuku midyoria," Mr.Aizawa

after he went and set of 7 mines, Mr.Aizawa started to rattle off names. I watch as everyone else does leave only me. I began to get more nervous, but my instincts kicked in when I heard my name called.

I turned my head to the side-scanning the small bumps and looking for patterns. After a few seconds, I looked up, my eyes narrowed, and I sprinted towards the booms. I heard a few people gasp because everyone else was super careful, but I knew what I was doing, at least I hope I do. After a few strides, I handspring into a front flip, landing right in between to booms. Then no-handed cartwheel over a couple more and then finally doing a double handspring into a triple front flip(I don't know if this actually exists) and landing on the other side of the minefield.

I looked up to see some people having their mouths hanging open while others were smiling. Deku was jumping up and down and said, "does this mean you are going to tell everyone," everyone then turned to Deku and looked back at me and yelled, "tell us what."

I glared at Deku, and all he could say back was "oops," dang nerd. After breathing in a few times, I managed to say, " i-i-do gymnastics" great, I stuttered. I looked up to see everyone smiling, and some were heading towards me. I was preparing for them to laugh at me, but instead, I was surprised with Kirishima saying, "that is so manly, bro. Maybe you could teach us some tricks" The other joined in, asking if I could teach them to.

I ended up showing some people a few tricks and was a lot more trusting and open with them.
