The Plane Trip

"We're finally here..."
Amanda was nervous. She had just met this man and she was now planning to spend the rest of her life with him. She really did like him but she thought, was she taking this to far?
"I'm nervous." Marilyn said while looking away from Amanda.
Marilyn and Amanda made there way down to the front of the plane. As they made there way down the boarding bridge they started to have regrets. Was Amanda rushing this? Was this going to be a disaster?
"Are you sure you want me to meet your family so soon?"
"Yes Marilyn. I couldn't think of doing it without you. I know I just met you but I don't think I wouldn't be able to do it without you." Amanda exclaimed while blushing.
Hearing that made Marilyn blush. He looked down at the ground and went all shy.
They both made there way to the front doors.
"You want to get something to eat before we leave? Marilyn asked while putting his arm out pointing to the food court.
Well, it wasn't really a food court just a couple of old looking restaurants.
Amanda nodded and they headed over. They end up finding a small burger joint that looked good so they found a seat and glanced over the menu. Marilyn settled on a beef and mushroom burger and Amanda chose a Salmon burger. They gave their orders to the waiter and settled in. Marilyn reached for Amanda's hands and held them in his.
"Your hands...they're so warm."
Hearing that made Amanda blush and giggle.
"Can I get either of you a drink?" Asked the waiter.
Marilyn looked up and read her name tag. It read 'Sharon'.
"Just two sprites please."
Marilyn gestured to the waiter.
"How did Marilyn know I wanted that?" Amanda asked herself.
"Oh sorry I should of asked what you want."
"No! I mean...no. A sprite would be nice. Thanks Marilyn."
Sharon rolled her eyes and laughed.
"Is he your sugar daddy? Y'all just get back from Paris."
Sharon let out a huge cackle and then made her way back to counter.
Hearing that made Amanda frown. Is this what people really thought of Amanda and Marilyn? Is this how it would always be if people saw the two together?
