The Blood Type series began as a creative writing challenge in 2011 with a list of random words that I had to somehow weave into a 1000-word story. I knew the main character was meant to experience some life-altering event, and what could be more life-altering than being made a vampire? Now here we are, two books in. One could argue the symbolism embedded within the vampire genre, but I'll let you come to your own conclusions regarding Blake and the others. What I do know is this: A story is nothing without a reader, and every reader's experience of a story is different.
Thanks to Ian, Hannah, Jake, and Bridget (Bea) for sharing me with a crazy cast of characters I also call family.
Thanks to Nicole John for the "fruitful" suggestion, and to Sharon and Leah for allowing me to use your names.
Thanks to Melissa Firman for your early edits.
Finally, thanks to all who like, comment, share, tweet, leave reviews, and are just generally supportive of everything I create.
I'll keep writing if you keep reading!
