Chapter 4: The Journey Begins

One week later:

Within a dark ally a group of disguised demons had cornered who they presumed was a helpless woman. However unknown to the group they were being watched. One of the demons walked up to the woman.

Demon 1: Seems someone's a little lost.

Demon 2: It seems we lucked out as well. Just look how stacked she is.

Before any of the demons could touch her a beam of light shot through one demon's head killing him instantly. As the others starred at their dead comrade an armored figure lands behind the group. The group decided to change to their true forms. It turned out that the group were Juujin as their animal features replaced most of their human features.

Juujin 1: You made a big mistake coming after us.

Y/n: Oh I don't think so. Besides what's a bunch of farm animals going to do?

This riled the group up as one, a dog juujin charged at Y/n. The juujin's punch was caught by Y/n who only smirked under his helmet. He then punched the Juujin hard enough cough up saliva and clutched his ribs where he was punched. Another Juujin charged at Y/n only to have his comrade tossed at him. Once he caught his injured friend the Juujin didn't react in time when Y/n punched a hole through the Juujin and his friend.

The woman watched as the armored warrior kill the Juujin. The remaining Juujin did not fair any better against their armored foe. It took thirteen seconds for them to meet their ends. Once the fighting was done Y/n walked over to the woman.

Y/n: So how did we do Kirika?

Kirika: We did well. I wish they wouldn't fall so easily for the trap. No real challenge to further test your armor.

Y/n: Considering they were Juujin they're very much of a challenge. If you want a proper test we'll need to go after more interesting targets.

Kirika: Sad to say but your right. But in order for that I feel we'll need some friends.

Y/n: What no supernatural friends on standby?

Kirika: Fortunately for us I do. Though she has gone in to early retirement.

Y/n: Did something happened?

Kirika: No, she felt she needed to break from our little ventures. Now she lives a semi peaceful life.

Y/n: Sounds interesting. How will we convince her?

Kirika: I'll have to figure that one out for later. For now let's go home.

Y/n nodded and the two left the area.

Time skip:

At the academy Y/n sat in class listening to another lecture by Izumi. As the lecture went on Y/n thought about his sister and how he would keep her safe. He was taken from his thoughts when the bell rang.

As the other students left Y/n was stopped by Izumi.

Izumi: Y/n could you stay for a bit.

Y/n: Something wrong teach?

Izumi: No, just wanted to see how you were doing since the incident.

Y/n: It's been difficult, but I'm doing what I can. I'm mostly worried for my sister.

Izumi: If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you.

Y/n: Thank you.

Y/n then left the class with a smile. Izumi however felt bad for Y/n after hearing what happened to his family. She couldn't understand how such an incident could happen to a family who just arrived only weeks ago.
