Chapter 9

3rd person pov:

They all watched hopelessly. Their teacher was hanging on just barely. They saw the creature grab his head and was about to slam it into the ground when it stopped. Everyone was confused on what was happening till they saw Mia standing there, her arms raised and tears streaming down her face. She was saying something but they couldn't make it out. The monster was thrown into the wall so hard it left a dent. Everyone gasped. Even the villains. The one with the hands started muttering about how she was able to control the Nomu and that she would be useful.

Now that Mia's attention was on All Might, she didn't see a villain come up behind her. The villain had some sort of knife quirk by the time Mia had noticed him it was too late. He had stabbed Mia in the stomach. She was quick to take down the villain holding her stomach tightly trying to stop the bleeding. All might was now next to her, he placed Midoriya and Tsuyu down and told them to take Mr Aizawa to the entrance.

Mia's pov:

As we were carrying Mr Aizawa back to the
entrance, I saw All Might fighting the creature I now know is a Nomu. He looked like her was exhausted. The Nomu was grabbing All Mights side, he looked as if he was in a lot of pain. Seeing this I decided to help. Apparently Midoriya had the same idea. We left Mr Aizawa with Tsuyu to carry and made our way to help All Might. All of a sudden Bakugo appears out of nowhere and uses his explosions on the smoke villain. He is able to pin him down and Todoroki freezes half of the Nomu's body. All Might was able to escape the Nomu's grasp.
Walking up next to Bakugo I asked him.

"How did you figure out his weakness?"

"Heh, when I first attached him I got near the collar of his shirt and I presumed he had to have some sort of physical thing. I was right." He responded smirking. "What the hell happened to you?" He asked. Staring at the stab wound in my stomach which was still bleeding badly.

"Nothing serious, don't worry about it." I blew off.

I could tell Bakugo wasn't happy with my answer but kept quite because he was struggling to keep the the villain down.

"HEY! IF I GET THE FEELING YOUR'E TRYING SOMETHING, I'LL BLOW YOUR ASS UP!" Bakugo yelled at the villain.

"Very heroic boom boom boy." I told him.

"THE HELL, OF COURSE I'M HEROIC SNOWFLAKE!" He yelled at me looking me straight in the eyes.

Bakugo was still holding the smoke guy down tightly.

"Nomu." The dude covered in hands said. "Free Kurogiri." He ordered.

The Nomu started to get up but his frozen half shatters in the process. I gasped. The Nomu was now regenerating his injuries.

"How the hell?" Kirishima questions.

My eyes widened, not sure what was going to happen next until I saw the Nomu's eyes focus on the person next to me.

Bakugo.

"BAKUGO!!" I screamed

"BAKUGO MOVE!" I screamed again, my voice cracking in desperation.

Bakugo didn't move, keeping a strong grip on the villain. He was watching in fear as the Nomu ran at him.

Everything felt like it was in slow motion. The Nomu was running at him at an incredible speed.

Before I could even think I was already running towards Bakugo. I pushed Bakugo out of the way as I felt something slam into my side. Then everything went black.

3rd person pov:

Everyone watched as Mia was slammed into a rock. Her body falling limp. Everyone was stood frozen. All Might had tried to get to them but he didn't make it. Kirishima ran over to Mia.

"MIA!" He yelled in worry. He held her head in his arm while his other hand applied pressure to her stab wound.

Bakugo was looking around, trying to figure out what happened. Then he saw her. She was passed out, laying on the floor next to Kirishima. She was covered in blood and and cuts and bruises everywhere.

"S-Snowflake?" Bakugo asked. His voice strained and it sounded like he was choking down tears.

~Time Skip~

All Might had now defeated the Nomu, sending it flying out the USJ. The boy with the hands stated to freak out while the warp villain tries to calm him down. Hands boy was ready to finish of what the Nomu had started when the Pro Hero's arrived.

"For the time being, we have failed. But we'll come back for you. And next time we won't fail. Symbol of peace." Hands boy finished off before escaping through he warp gate. But not without a few bullet holes.

Bakugo's pov:

I watched spiky hair pick up Mia to carry her to the entrance. Without thinking I walked up to him and took her in my arms. Looking down at her now, I could see how badly she was injured. She had a stab wound in her stomach which was now soaking my tshirt in blood. Her arms and legs were covered in cuts and bruises. She had a cut across her forehead and she was bleeding badly. Why. Why did she have to save me. Why couldn't I protect myself. Why did she sacrifice her life for me. I couldn't get thoses thoughts out of my head as I watched lying in a stretcher awaiting an ambulance. She was hooked up to a ventilator and her body was eerily still. Dammit Snowflake. I made my way back to the bus, ignoring everyone.  I looked back at Mia and saw Shitty hair with her. He was talking softly to Denki who was next to him. Kirishima moved her hair out her face and held her deadly cold hands. I felt a tinge in my chest as I watched this. What are you doing to me snowflake.

Todoroki pov:

I watched as the put Mia in an ambulance. She was attached to so many machines. Dammit why did she have to put herself in harms way. I thought as I saw the ambulance drive off. I wasn't able to see her before she left as she needed medical attention straight away. I should go visit her at the hospital.

Mia's pov:

All I saw when I open my eyes was a blinking light. I looked around and saw I was connected to many monitors. I slowly tried to sit up. As I moved I felt a sharp pain in my left side. Looking down I saw I had bandages rapped around my stomach.

"Shit that hurts." I mumbles to myself. I started to remember what happened.

Were they all okay? What happened after I passed out? Where were they.

I slowly got out of the bed, I looked at the mirror and saw I had a cut cross my forehead. I turned on the sink and started to control the water and try heal my stomach. I didn't last long before I grew tried again and almost collapsed.

I looked around the empty hospital room. Making my way back to my bed, exhausted from the healing I had attempted. I went to lay back down. Nobody had come to see me. I'm not surprised my father didn't but I was hoping some of my classmates would. Lying on my back I drifted off into another sleepless night.
