Austin's house was about a 20 minute drive from our hotel, but the drive seemed to fly by quick. We wrapped up our conversation about cars and got out of the A/Ced vehicle, and back into the scorching hot sun. "Wow." I breathed out while looking up at Austin's house. He lives here?
"It looks smaller on the inside." A voice informed me, causing me to slightly jump. Austin looked down at me and placed his hand on my back. "Come. I'll give you a tour." He smiled sincerely, and lightly pushed me forward. His hand was warm, and fit perfectly in the crook of my back. He removed his arm to open the door, and my body shivered in chills.
The front door revealed a white grand piano next to a staircase leading up to the second floor. I felt the warmth of a hand on my back again, and my breath hitched.
"Welcome to our humble home!" Austin's voice echoed throughout the first floor. I giggled and marveled at the way he had everything set up. I wandered into a red lighted room and realized it was Austin's home-studio.
"Cool, huh?" I jumped at Austin's sudden appearance behind me and he chuckled. "This is where the magic happens." He smiled proudly and walked further into the room.
I was distracted by his wall of awards. His MTV one captured my attention the most. "Your friends and family must be proud." I smiled reading the labels on every award.
"Not as proud as my mom." He shook his head, but kept a smile on his face; it gives away how much he loves her. "Come on. There's more you have to see." He grabs my hand and leads me out of his studio and into a larger room, which happens to be a bathroom.
"Why are you showing me your bathroom?" I question, failing to hide my amusement. He chuckles, but he sounds embarrassed.
"I-I uh. I honestly don't know." He rubs the back of his neck nervously, and turns to leave.
"Wait!" He turns back to face me and I run towards his bathtub. "Is that a tiger?" He laughs at my excitement and walks around to retrieve the stuffed tiger.
"I can't get a real one, so I figured, why not just get a giant stuffed one?" I smiled at him and he returned a shy smile. "C'mon. There's more."
Placing his hand in mine, he showed me his kitchen and dinning room, which happens to be shared with a ping pong table. Boys and their toys. He takes me upstairs and shows me every one of the guys' rooms, and I have to admit, Robert's is my favorite. It's not all that big, but it's roomy. The led lights had me right away, though.
"This has to be my second favorite thing about this house." Austin smiles and leads me up another flight of stairs. How many floors does this house have?
He leads me into a room with polished, wooden floors; spotless mirrors on one side. "You have a dance studio in your house?" I turned to him with amazement in my voice. He shrugs humbly and makes his way towards the window. I follow him, but stop when I hear my ringtone, 'Darte un Beso' by Prince Royce. Austin raises an eyebrow at me, and I flush in embarrassment as I answer.
"Yes?" I didn't bother looking at the caller ID.
"Where'd you guys go?" It's Daniela.
"Hey. Austin's just giving me a tour of the house. We're up in his dance studio." I hear her gasp, and smile.
"He has a dance studio?" She was astounded and I know she's gonna want to see it, but I want to be alone with Austin. To get to know him.
"Yeah." I laugh lightly. "We'll be down in a couple minutes." I assure her and look up at
Austin. He sends me a warm smile and I feel my insides melt. He's so cute.
"Okay, but you need to show my the room later." I shake my head and say goodbye.
