"Oh, my god! How did you not know you were sitting next to THE Austin Mahone!?" Daniela whisper-yelled. When I told her I was sitting with Austin, she forced me to meet her by the bathroom.
"Can you keep your voice down? They're not too far from us, you know." She calmed down, but she held the biggest smile on her face. This child. "Okay. Do you want to switch seats or something?" I asked, confused to her outbursts.
"Of course!" She yelled and quickly covered her mouth. My hands joining on top of hers.
"But we can't." What? Seeing my confused expression, she went on. "If we switch, he'll know somethings up. And I don't think I'd be able to contain myself. You have to talk to him and get him to hang out with us! Jesus, this is amazing."
"Are you kidding? I'm not going to use him for your own pleasures. I'm gonna go sit back in my seat, and pretend he's not even famous because that's the right thing to do. He's a normal kid like us, and you know I don't care for celebrities." I quickly looked back to see Austin, and slipped a smile.
"Oh my God!" She squealed and I know Austin heard because he turned his head back in our direction. I quickly turned and glared at Daniela.
"Dude! What the fuck?" She smirked and stared at me with challenging eyes.
"You like him." I did a double take.
"What? God no. He's probably one of those stuck up, rich white boys. You know I'm not looking for a boyfriend and an ungrateful famous singer is the last thing I wa-" Daniela's face went pale, and I froze. "He's behind me, isn't he?" She slowly nodded, and I took a deep breath while turning around.
"Hey." Austin smiled.
"Hi." I breathed out.
"Stuck up, rich white boy, huh?" His smile turned into a smirk. Why is this happening to me!?
"I-I didn't mean that." I stuttered, making his smile return.
"I know."
"I'm- I'm gonna go." Daniela awkwardly waved and slipped away, leaving me alone with Austin.
"I'm sorry about what I said. I don't even know you, and I'm sure you're a nice person. I just needed to get my friend to shut up. She's a big fan." Just by seeing him smile, my shyness started to slowly fade and I was back to my awkward, normal self.
"Would you like to?"
"Like to what?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"Get to know me. We can hang out... Or something." Suddenly he was the shy one.
"That's every girl's dream isn't it? Spending a day with a cute boy. Or celebrity in your case. I'm not a groupie." I then mentally cursed myself for calling him cute aloud. Maybe he didn't hear me. But of course he did, why else would he send me a smirk. Fuck.
"You think I'm cute?" He chuckled still holding the smirk.
"I- Well...Yeah." I could feel my cheeks getting warm. God, no. Please no. I will not blush in front of him. His smirt turned into a sincere smile.
"Can I take you out sometime?" I felt all the air go out of me. Did Austin Mahone just ask me out on a date!? Now, I know I said I'm not into celebrities, but there's a line between obsessing behind a screen and getting asked out by one. My heart was racing and I felt my palms start to get sweaty. I didn't know what to say. For all I know, he does this to every pretty girl he sees. Not implying that I'm pretty, but I have to have something going right if he's asking me.
"Are you kidding?" His face fell and I immediately rephrased my outburst. "I didn't mean it like that. It's just, I'm just a girl from Atlanta. I'm not even a fan."
