As soon as we entered the hotel's lobby, Daniela wouldn't shut up about my possible attraction towards Austin. 'I barely met the kid! Shut up already, would you?" I quickened my pace towards the front desk. Daniela caught up, still babbling about Austin. "I can tell you everything about him, so you can be ready for whenever you see him aga-" I was irritated now.

"Shut up! I'm not going out with him and I don't want to know every single detail of his fucking life, you creep! I barely met the kid, I don't like him. Now shut up for 10 minutes, will you?" She was taken back, but didn't say a word. I turned to the man at the front desk with embarrassment. He semi smiled and asked if we had a reservation. I gave him my name and he gave us each a key, telling us to take the elevator to the 10th floor. Why so high up? "Your bags should be delivered shortly. I'll send someone up once they arrive." I smiled at the man, slipping a silent "thanks".

The elevator ride up was silent. Daniela constantly ran her eyes over to me, searching to see if my anger has faded. I wasn't mad, but I didn't feel like talking; I want to simply get to our room and sleep off my jetlag and everything that happened on that plane.

We finally found our room, and both our jaw dropped as the door opened.

"Oh. My."

"God." Daniela finished. "Your parents didn't..."

"Oh, but they did." I smiled and ran inside. "Look at this place!"

The living room was directly in front of the door, a balcony straight ahead. To the right was a hall leading to a two bed bedroom, closet, and bathroom. To the left was a sliding door that lead to a full on stainless steel kitchen. "This is crazy." I was amazed at the perfectly polished island that sat right in the middle of the enormous kitchen.

"Dude, your parents really went all out!" Daniela marveled at the kitchen as a walked past the dining table that could feed 8. I needed to call my mom.

After I got off the 45 minute phone call with my mom, I took in a much needed breath. I'm so tired, and my mom babbling on about me being safe was simply adding on to my tiredness.
I groaned inwardly when I heard a knock at the door. I really need some sleep.

I quickly opened the door and stared blankly at the large cart full of suitcases that stood in front of me. No owner? I quickly called for Daniela, telling her our luggage was at the door, and decided to pull the cart in. Once it was half through the doorway, it wouldn't budge.

"Why. Won't. You. Come." I tugged one last time. "I-" I lost my balance and saw my life flash before my eyes as the cart headed straight for me.

"Woah." A voice let out and soon the cart's wheels stopped. I blindly reached for a help up, and felt a rush of relief when a hand slipped into mine, helping me up. "Thank you." I quickly brushed myself off and looked up to see Austin.

"What are you doing here?" I was quickly consumed with confusion.

"Not the greeting I was looking for." He playfully frowned, causing me to flush. "I wanted to make sure you got your luggage okay. I've had my share of lost bags." He smiled shyly and quickly added, "I also wanted to make sure I'd see you again. I couldn't say anything in front of the guys or my manager because they'd think I'm not being careful about my personal information."

"Sorry. I- uh. It's fine." I stuttered and turned to Daniela, who had just entered the room.

"How'd you get up here?" Was the first thing she said. Not even a 'hello'. He must think we were raised in a barn. Crap.

"The man at the front desk told me where to find you." His answer was directed to me, not so much Daniela who had asked to begin with.

"So much for customer confidentiality." She muttered. I silently laughed and started taking down the bags from the cart.
