K I A R A ' S P.O.V"Kiara, Kiara don't ignore me!" I continued to storm away, wanting to escape this sick nightmare. "Kiara stop," He managed to grab ahold of my wrist, and yank me into a dark corner.
My breath hitched as his hand clasped over my mouth. I struggled in his tight grip, only relaxing after I saw the anger in his eyes slowly dissipate.
"I'm going to let go, but don't run away again. Please," I nodded slowly, watching as he slowly retracted his hand. "I'm not...actually I am mad, I'm seriously mad in fact, but not at you. Never at you."
"Don't be mad at Aaron either, I'm the one who wanted to spend the night with him." I noticed how his jaw clenched at the sound of that name.
"Did you sleep with him?" Every word was strained as if it was painful to even speak them.
"No, I didn't. We only...well...you know." I murmured, my cheeks flushing red in embarrassment.
"It's okay. You can do what you like and so can he."
"You don't seem okay," He flinched as I reached for his hand. Okay, that stung.
"I'll be fine, I just need a little time." Walking away from me, he stepped into the house and disappeared amongst the crowd of people.
I took a deep breath. Thankfully, everyone was too drunk to pay attention to Tessa's drunken outburst, unfortunately she had disappeared too. Extremely drunk and extremely vulnerable.
I needed to find her, and fast.
I pushed through the swarm of sweaty bodies dancing, making out and acting like stupid reckless teenagers as usual. God, I wish I could just act like one of them again.
After finally making it to the kitchen, I grabbed two shots, downing them to settle my nerves. Natasha was strutting around with her gang of bitches in a dress which barely covered her pussy, probably searching for Tristan.
I quickly escaped before she could ask me about him and decided to check upstairs for Tessa. Before I could even make it though, a hand yanked me into the coat closet.
"Don't scream, or punch me again please." Again, fucking again! Of course, it was Sawyer.
I hadn't seen him for ages, the last time being when he almost assaulted me. Luckily, my right hook didn't fail me. His face was still tattered with faint bruises and his lip was still a little swollen.
"I'm not here to win you back, or try and kiss you. I'm sorry about what happened last time and you made it perfectly clear that you want nothing to do with me."
"Then why did you pull me into a closet? Why am I here with you again?" I seethed, bawling up my fist.
"Because I'm here to warn you." I felt my body tense under the severity in his tone.
"Warn me about what?" He sighed, running a hand through his thick blonde mane that was in desperate need of a trim.
"I'm probably going to get killed for this but you're my friend, I care about my friends." He paused, and I could feel him stalling.
"Sawyer, what is it? If it's that important then just tell me?"
"I know about you and Aaron black." I froze, taken aback. "And if I know, then so do a lot more people. Bad people Kiara, people who wish to see Aaron fall. He's a dangerous monster who's probably just using you for his five seconds of fun."
"Shut up Sawyer, you don't know anything about him." I snapped, feeling this instant need to defend a man who I couldn't even call mine.
"Maybe not, but I do know this. He has enemies, a lot of them, and I'm scared that you're going to get caught up it in all." I scoffed.
