As soon as Vanessa wakes up she starts thinking about the things she heard. She feels the need to find out what Anastasia's hiding. She decides to uncover Ann's past. However, she remembers everything she has to do today and gets slightly worried. She then reminds herself who she is and what she has accomplished so far. She owns a publishing house for god's sake.
She starts thinking about the club she wants to open and the meetings she has today for that to happen. She quickly gets dressed.

She decides not to eat breakfast. Only asks for a coffee from Alfred. While waiting for the coffee she sees her father and his wife. She gets annoyed seeing Anastasia's smile and rolls her eyes. Says "Good morning" to her father.
Alfred brings her coffee and she thanks him. When she's about to leave her dad stops her.
"Van, wait." she turns to Grant. He continues "We are gonna have a party to celebrate our marriage tonight. I mean it's more like a gathering. Hopefully, we'll see you there?" he says askingly.
"Oh, are you trying to invite me, daddy?" she says jokingly. She hates the fact that her dad married a gold digger and now she's supposed to celebrate that? She feels annoyed. "Okay, I'll be there. Only for the champagne though." she hopes that there will be people from Ann's past at the party. So she can find out everything.

Vanessa arrives at the venue that she thinks might be her new club. She looks around and loves the place.
"Okay, I'm getting it." she says, relaxed. She calls her best friend and invites her to the venue. In the meantime, she calls her assistant.
"I need you to find me a PI, A good one. I need it in an hour."
"A PI? A private investigator?" Her assistant asks very confusedly.
"Yes, Timothy. Are you having a hard time understanding? Because I can very easily find a new assistant who can understand easily." Vanessa says with a very angry voice.
"No, I understand. I'll send you the information in less than an hour." he says sounding very nervous.
Vanessa hangs up. And sees her best friend Zara. They hug. "I missed you so much. I'm so glad we finally got to see each other."
"Yeah, me too. But I'm also very curious about this business proposal you mentioned." Zara says.
"Right to business, that's why you're my best friend." Vanessa says with a smile. "Well I think I mentioned this before, I've been wanting to open a club for a while, and I finally found the venue. It's here. I love the place I think it's perfect." she stops for a minute, looks around the place, and continues "I want to run this place together. What do you think?"
Zara smiles. "First of all, I love this place. And of course I want to run a club together. Do you even need to ask, Van?"
