"Vanessa Winthrope is still in bed at 10 a.m." Zara said sarcastically while walking into my room. "What's wrong, Van?"
"Nothing. I'm fine. I just don't feel like getting out of my bed. That's all." Zara looked at me questioning. "What? It's the truth."
"We both know that it's not. Tell me already." I gave up, she knew me too well. "Well, it's not the reason I'm still in bed. But there's something on my mind." I told Zara about the weird encounter I had with Nick and his fiance.
"Wow, boy problems. I did not see that one coming." she laughed. I threw a pillow at her. "Shut it!" Zara laughed a little more then continued. "He seemed nice at the party. I didn't really talk to him. But you two seemed cozy." she laughed again.
"I thought he was flirting with me." I said. "Honestly, I thought so too. Maybe he was?" Zara asked, a little scared.
"You think he's a cheater? I mean he didn't look that way to me. But also I barely know him. Maybe he is an ass." I said to her. It disappointed me a little.
"You know what? It doesn't matter. You'll be just fine without him anyway. We are having a girl's day today. I'm taking you out." Zara winked. We both chuckled. I agreed to go out and got dressed.

We had a fun day together but it didn't last long. Because I got a call about my publishing company Fudo. I had to leave and take care of the crisis. I have been struggling with my company lately. I wasn't feeling passionate about it anymore. And with the new club, I was thinking about selling Fudo.
Right when I entered my company Timothy came running towards me. He filled me in about everything. After we finally handled the problem I realized that I wasn't happy and decided to sell Fudo for sure. This place was my baby but it was time I let go.
I was going to have dinner by myself but then I got a call from Elliott. He invited me to dinner. I went to the address he sent but there was no restaurant. I called him. "Hey. Are you sure that the address you sent me is right? I am not seeing a restaurant or anything."
"Well, that's normal since I sent you my home address. I made dinner for us."
Elliott and I were a bit weird. We have known each other for about 5 years now. But our relationship was always different. We don't see each other that often but when we do, well, we occasionally hook up. I mean it's nothing serious and we don't have romantic feelings for each other or anything. But it's kind of like a secret. Because honestly, I am a little embarrassed about it. I told Zara we ended things like a year ago. She knew this wasn't good for me so she told me I should end it and I agreed. But when it came to actually ending it I couldn't. I am having fun and that is good enough for now.
I knocked on the door. he opened it with a huge smile. He really was good-looking. We ate and hang out.
