15)Malfoy as a chaser?

          "Y/n we have tryouts today, yay us right?" Marcus laughed lightly, he seemed off like something inside him broke. "What's wrong Marcus?" "I'm just tired it's my 5th year and I'm going to have to study for the OWLS and I'm just nervous and stressed. Maybe quidditch isn't the best idea for my this year. So if anything happens, you're to be captain. Do you understand? You can do this." "Don't make me do this without you...please" you whispered more or less the 'please' to yourself, but he heard every word. "I'm not quitting right now, if begins to get too much I might, but I won't leave you." He brought you into a tight hug and you walked onto the quidditch pitch, you looked up to the stands and once your boys sat together, even Percy was there without Angelina. It was weird, you had wondered what happened between them but you still wouldn't talk to him. "Y/n how about you lead this one" "alright! Listen up losers! We don't do bullshit on this team. If any of you want to be a seeker you'll have to go against me and I've broken a Hogwarts record my first year so I suggest you rethink. As for chasers and beaters we're looking for some, we're not looking for a keeper at the moment so I'm sorry if you're here for that." You yelled at everyone there, "now go!" Y/n hovered on her broom watching everyone else making sure they was no cheating, and fair play. These people were rough, you recognized some of them from when you signed their brooms, they still looked up and admired you deeply. You all flew back down, Marcus and y/n had a conversation about who could be a chaser, deciding to keep the two beaters they had. In the end they ended up picking Malfoy, and two second years you signed a broom for last year. You went up to them and personally congratulated them, and told them that watching the team for another year paid off, and that they would do a good job. As for Malfoy he stared at you, not a glare or anything of that sort, no. It was a stare of admiration, he looked up to you but he would never admit it. "Draco right?" You tried to make small talk with the blonde. "Yeah, Y/n is it?" "Haha yeah it is! Glad you made it first year, you remind me of me. Determined, congrats! If you ever need extra practice or need anything in general just find me or Marcus we'd love to help!" You said cheerfully and ruffled his hair, all he could do was smile, you handed him his quidditch gear and jersey, then turned to head for the stands with Marcus, ready to watch Hufflepuff next and Cedric yell at people with his captain as well. Cedric's tryouts took longer than the Slytherin's but they managed to get through it, while Ravenclaw was having tryouts you and Cedric went to go practice the performance for tonight's dinner which you have been doing for about 2 weeks now. "Ouch!" Y/n ran into a blonde who was wearing a ravenclaw robe, about to go up and watch the tryouts. "Oh Merlin I'm so sorry..." y/n trailed while helping the blonde up. "Luna, and it's alright I find human interactions like this quite interesting" she said smiling, "well I owe you a butter beer for that, come find me when you want one I'm a 3rd year in Slytherin" you smiled, Cedric chimed in "she's the best Slytherin you'll ever meet, I'm Cedric, 3rd year in hufflepuff" Luna smiled "I'll see you guys at dinner! If you want we can hang out after in the Ravenclaw tower!" "How about we hang out in the Slytherin Tower, trust me you'll like it more than you think. If you haven't met Ron Weasley he'll be there as well, he's a Gryffindor in his first year, he's a sweetheart!" "Oh that would be nice!" "Alright good we'll all meet up after dinner, and sorry again for knocking you down" Luna nodded and walked away. "She seems friendly" Cedric smiled and continued on "you know you could use a couple of girlfriends y/n you only hang around us guys" "there's nothing wrong with that!" You said defensively. "Yes yes I know I'm just saying, when Percy, Marcus, and Bill graduate what are you going to do, you only have me love and the twins, and Ron. You could use a couple girlfriends or more friends at least, I'm just worried about you." "I know Cedric I know, I'll try and make more friends, I kind of take a liking to that little Malfoy, he's adorable!" You piped up, " I think he admires you if I'm being honest" "me too honestly but I'll try to make him a friend instead of me being someone he just admires." You both laughed and started practicing, another hour went by and you watch the Gryffindor tryouts with Cedric, Bill, Ron, Marcus, and you asked Luna to join as well. The boys were done with tryouts but the twins wouldn't fly down they came over to the stands where you were and Fred swung you into his broom, you being used to being in control decided to cling to Fred for dear life. "Freddie what are you doing?! I don't like this put me down!" He just chuckled, ignoring what you said completely that's when he pushed you off of the broom on purpose. Your heart pounded, and you prepared to hit the ground but before you could George came and swept you onto his broom, then you clung onto him. "Georgie if you even think about pushing me off like Freddie did you'll end up with a broken dick and very dull sex life, like your brother is about too when I get off the damn broom!" George went completely pale and put you back on the stands with everyone else.
