⨴Magic Knights Pt.2⨵

The last test was in fact a duel, they were meant to partner up and fight. There were healers on standby incase anyone went to far.

Karai was approached by some person who seemed like a rich noble. "May I help you?" Karai smiled. "I see you don't have a partner, would you like to duel with me?" He asked.

"I don't see why not." She said, she decided not to go too hard on him. Asta went up first, he was against a kid named Sekke.

He created some type of shield that resembled some type of bomb, it seemed like a defensive move. But to win, you needed good offensive moves.

Asta's Grimoire glowed Dark red and he pulled out a large sword. "By the weight I presume it is, he'd need a lot of raw strength. That's impressive." Karai thought as she observed the battle.

Asta charged at Sekke and brought his sword down on the shield, striking right through the shield and hitting Sekke. He'd surely be out of commission for the rest of the fight.

"Only one hit, more impressive than I thought. I applaud you Asta." Karai thought with a smile. Karai knew that Asta could become the Wizard King, he just needed a little push.

A couple Nobles fought against each other which was an enjoyable show nonetheless. Yuno was now up, and Karai decided to go up after him.

Yuno was up against a Noble, like Karai was. She caught his eye. "Give is a good show." She mouthed and he nodded, she knew he could easily beat this one.

Might as well make it entertaining. Yuno was against Salim, from the Hapshass family. He was surely prestigious, but not enough to beat Yuno.

"Take this as a Souvenir, I call it Holy Lightning Rising Salim." He said as he took out his Grimoire, Yuno did the same.

A large ball of Lightning formed and started flying towards Yuno. "Wind magic: Towering Tornado." Yuno yelled and a large tornado formed, stopping the Lighting ball.

Salim screamed as he started to fly up into the air. Karai held onto the rim of her hood to keep it from flying off. Yuno's tornado passed and Salim fell to the ground.

"I can't believe it!" And "He totally flattened a noble!" Stuck out from the crowd of murmuring. Karai smirked. "I'm not surprised, good job Yuno." She thought as he walked away.

"Nice work." She smiled at him and he nodded. "Thanks, good luck on your match." Yuno replied and Karai's smile grew. "Thanks, see ya." She said and walked out.

"And, Begin!" A man yelled, signaling for the match to start. "Fire magic: Burning Geysers!" Karai's opponent yelled and flames shot up into the air like a water geyser.

Karai dodged each one in a flash, she smiled and put her barrier up. Which concealed her and her opponent, whispers and confused shouts rang through the crowd.

"I'm sure you can try again next year!" Karai smiled and sent a sharp kick to her opponent's head, knocking them unconscious.

She let down her barrier and more outbursts of shock came from the crowd. Karai walked back to where Yuno previously stood with her in the crowd.

After plenty more battles, the Exam concluded and it was now time for selection. "When your number is called, please step forward and see to your results." The captain of the Golden Dawn announced.

"If a captain wants you on his or her squad, they will raid their hand. That means your in. If you do not wish to join a squad, you may, of course, decline." The captain of the Blue Rose Knights spoke.
