Chapter 6: Apology
Emily's POV.
I don't know why I chose 'Titanic' for us to watch? I could have chosen any other movie in existence, but I didn't. Once we got to the car scene, I couldn't help but feel so much romantic energy swirling around me, us. I knew there was a risk of taking things too fast, but I couldn't help but act on my romantic impulses, so I kissed her, then she kissed me back. Her lips were so soft, and I sensed some cherry lip chap. I had wanted to kiss her for so long, and it finally happened.
"Sorry." I apologize for some reason, as I erched back.
Ali's POV.
I felt Emily's lips on mine, and my first instinct was to kiss her back. I didn't even have to think about it, I just did. Her lips felt so delicate on mine, it was a kiss like no other I had experienced. All the other kisses I'd had, were for movies, and TV shows. They put no passion into them, it was just a paycheck kiss if you don't count the boy that had a huge crush on me. Now that was too much. I could feel some nervous energy towards the last few milliseconds of it. I could only assume she was going to feel awkward about it, and I was right.
"Sorry." She apologized for some reason, as she erched back.
"No, it was perfect."
"Really?"
"Yes. I might be new at this, but I'm not an idiot." Why did I just say that?
"I never said you were." Ok, just get through this conversation.
"I just thought you might want to know. I do know some things about relationships."
"Thanks for telling me." Emily's Mom came into the room.
"Hey girls, you're going to have to finish this later, Even Corncrake is on now." Emily's Mom liked that man, why!?
"Alyssa." Did I hear that right, did she just call me Alyssa?
"Huh."
"I said, Alison, do you know who Even Corncrake is?" Of course, I knew, he was a selfish horrible jackass.
"Don't answer that," Emily advised.
"No."
"How about I show you the rest of the house?"
"Sure."
"You haven't shown her the whole house?"
"No, we just started watching the movie. Now as you know, this is our living room." She sounded like a realtor.
"So Miss Realtor, how many people does it hold?" She just laughed at that.
"Do I really sound like a realtor?"
"A little." I laughed back.
"Well, Miss Dilaurentis, how about I show you the kitchen?" I got another strange stare from Mrs.Fields.
"I would love that."
"Here the kitchen. Perfect size for you and some other people, do you like dinner parties? You could throw so many good ones here." Not one bit, they are so boring.
"Yes, I love buying food for people I don't like, then having to make petty small talk."
"Doesn't everyone?"
"Hello everyone, today we are going to be welcoming Kevin Chase, from his hit TV show, 'Gator Gone', but first I would like to make an announcement. I bet you saw my episode a couple of days ago when I had Alyssa Dilore-" Oh god, the room felt like it was spinning, what was he going to say, probably nothing I hadn't read before. He would probably copy someone else's burn, and pass it off as his own, just like the scumbag he was.
