- she once had a miscarriage to her supposedly third child before Kiori was born.
- she uses Flower Breathing but instead of a sword, she uses a naginata. A long curved blade with a handguard attached to a long wooden shaft that she wrapped up with a red cloth.
- her husband and first son died from a demon attack before Kazumi came to save her and her daughters.
- she's usually patient and calm but also has a temper. She hates spicy foods and would throw up if she eats anything spicy.
