- She's also the older twin sister of Shinjitsu and sadly, Tsukika's bestfriend before she got married. It was out of jealousy that Tsukika broke their friendship because Tsukika also has feelings for Hanare's husband but was rejected. Tsukika also envied Hanare for her beauty and attempted to ruin her face back then and covering it up saying it was an accident when her plan failed.
- Hanare's kind and loving but can also be cruel and merciless when needed. She regrets getting blinded by her kindness that she wasn't able to see through Tsukika's plans before she left.
- She hold the title "Yin and Yang" or "The Balance of the Heaven and Earth" back when she was still in the underworld before seeking for his brother in the human realm. She only lost this title when she died.
- Before dying, she left a small amount of her power and consciousness inside Kazumi enabling her to curse Tsukika and Natsuko and being able to also put a small amount of her power on the painting of her children that caused some slayers and the corps leader of the Taisho Era be back to the Sengoku Era and Kazumi's past through a dream.
