Hoseok and Yoongi sat both crisscross on the ground. Facing each other, but definitely averted themselves.
"Umm, please don't mind the mess of my room." Yoongi sighed.
"Don't worry about that. It's pretty calm in here." Hoseok admitted.
Maybe that came out a bit weird, but for a person who doesn't socialize much this was his type of place. Yet he still loved being in crowds.
"Thanks?" Yoongi thought.
They again had a prolonged silence. That was until Yoongi decided to move around and hit the desk next to him. A notebook fell down opened next to Hoseok.
"Oops sorry." He crawled quickly to snatch the notebook away.
But Hoseok clearly took a glance at it. It had pages with titles, words, and most importantly something that looked like self made music sheets. He couldn't avoid them, or the fact that there were so many of them. The older let out a defeated suspire.
"Go ahead you can ask."
"I wasn't really going to... but ok." Hoseok chuckled and gathered the senses to ask. "Did you make that?"
"I- I did."
"You write music?"
"Wait... stupid question but, how'd you know that this was you know?"
"I myself might be a little interested in such thing."
"Oh... ok. And I do make music."
"Do you do anything else related?"
"I play piano. You?"
"I dance."
"Do you like make music too or no?"
"I tried learning, but my parents told me to focus on studies. I guess I don't have much chance with that."
"Don't say that. It's never too late to learn."
"I mean it is hard to keep up with both lives tho. Dancing, producing music, and school are a bit too much."
"Well between you and me I don't prioritize school anymore. It's too hard, and no one ever helps me anyways."
"You realize you're talking to me?"
Yoongi looked up confused at his statement. Then he realized what he meant... of course Hoseok is a tutor how was he going to forget.
"I have an idea... if I help you with school, you can help me?" Hoseok jumped.
"I don't know... that's too much for my personal liking."
Hoseok's face fell and a sad pout came on his pretty smiling lips. That hurt the older. Seeing such bright person feel down, he wasn't going to let it happen. But why? He didn't yet understand.
"Fine... but you're here for Hyuna so prioritize her."
"I will, of course." Hoseok smiled widely.
"So uhh... what does this make us?" Yoongi asked, going over the conversation.
He somewhat wanted to be friends with the taller male. Just the boy's answer wasn't the... expected.
"Business partners."
Yoongi's face fell into visible confusion from the sudden announcement. Tho the boy still had a smile on his face. They sat in silence for the last time that night.
"Why'd you come all the way over here for tutoring? Isn't that too much?" Yoongi changed topics.
"Not really for me. I came here for my personal reasons too, I just thought this might be a good excuse to escape from my parents without notice." Hoseok corrected.
Soon without noticing the conversation started to keep going, but in Korean. The vocabulary used was extraordinary to Hyuna who could here something's from time to time in her room.
"I don't think New York's got it for me. Maybe Los Angeles, or even back home in Korea, but just not New York." Yoongi admitted.
"Well to be honest for me it doesn't matter, I barely make any friends so the amount of people isn't something I worry about." The younger sat back.
"Yea same."
They stared at each other in the eye for a split second and felt something.
"Can we add something to the deal?" Yoongi hugged his knees, wanting to break the awkward stare.
"What is it?"
"Can you teach me how to dance?" He slapped himself mentally realizing that physical activities aren't his thing.
"Ok, sure."
Nothing big was happening. Just talking. Something that neither of them really did much.
"So I heard you have a sister? Is she older than you?" Yoongi tried learning more about him.
"Yea she's like 5 years older then me. She and my friend Taehyung are my only friends right now." Hoseok reminded himself.
"Oh, sorry. If it helps, I myself don't have much friends either. Only my friend Namjoon, he tried making me friends with his friends but didn't work out." His words kept coming out.
"Well, I'm sure we'll get along too right? I hope so."
Hoseok still didn't seem to want to be friends. The word didn't form when it came to the newly met boy. Yet Yoongi didn't want to make him be friends.
"I'm sure too. And I'm also pretty sure Hyuna's going to love working with you and so am I." He smiled.
For the first time Hoseok finally saw the older boy's lips form a beautiful grin.
"You have a pretty smile. You should do it more often." The dreamy and accidental words left the boy lips.
"T-Thank you." Yoongi blushed and hid his face right away.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to say it out loud."
"No its fine. I needed that." He whispered shyly.
"What time is it? Should I go back now. You should sleep. I'll leave." Hoseok said in a hurry, somewhat trying to avoid the newly made problem.
"If you want to go then I'll come with you, but there's no pressure." Yoongi followed him.
"I just don't want to be an issue for you." Hoseok turned around to be met with the sad eyes of Yoongi who wished he could stay a little more.
"You aren't." Yoongi checked the time and even if it was getting late, that's not what he wanted.
"Ok, then. I'll stay. If you can start teaching me right now." The younger smirked, the sudden change of staying was now interesting for Yoongi.
"What made you change your mind?" Yoongi wondered.
"Nothing that should matter, unless you do want me to leave." Hoseok smirked.
"Fine then let me teach you."
So for just a few more hours he stayed with Yoongi.
