THAT BOY?!

Keefe's POV

"Miss me, Foster?" I say as she runs into my arms, I smile at her. I've missed her so much, I know she likes Fitz, I know she would never like me. I've betrayed her so many times, I've got a broken down family and who can never compete against Fitz Vacker, he's popular, handsome, perfect, and so many more things, there are so many that I would have to spend a bunch of time just listing his looks, let alone everything else.

Foster blushes and pulls away as mr perfect runs through the door. I look back down at Foster confused "you were with Fitz?" I whisper so only she can hear

"not only" she turns back to the other people staring at us

then the shouting starts "he betrayed us Sophie"

"Why are you hugging him?" They were shouting at us, so loud Grady and Edaline could probably hear them over the sound of Verdi roaring.

"calm down." Sophie shouts at everyone standing at the door now, I look up from Sophie and see; Tam, Biana, Dex, Lihn and Fitz, Lihn is quit, it looks like Biana and Dex said those things, and Tam and Fitz are glaring at us for all there worth. "He's still a friend even though he betrayed us"

"Jealous, Fitzy?" I smirk at him, He just glares more, and Sophie blushes, I thought they would never forgive me, I think I may of been right about some people.

There were two minutes of awkward silence

Fitz grabs Biana's hand "Uh, I think we're gonna go" he says, I watch them go, and I think I should go and plead the Vackers to forgive me. Maybe in a few days, or months? Dex waves and goes, not giving us any bye, not even a smile, barley even looking at me.

"Um, we'll leave you too alone" Lihn says rushing away with Tam. She gives us a smile as she goes, leaving me and Sophie alone. As soon as they leave Sophie starts shouting, louder then Biana and Dex.

"Where have you been!" I look down at my shoes "I thought you were dead" she says a little bit more quietly. I pull her into a hug again, and we stand their together for a while until we hear a door slam. Sophie pulls away quickly and ushers me into her room and hides me in her closet, I didn't realise how many clothes a girl needed!

Sophie's POV

I jump on my bed and grab a book as Grady knocks on my door and comes in.

"So your friends are gone then, did you have a fight, we heard shouting"

"Sorry, Biana and Dex got into a fight about the councillors and collective then Dex disappeared and Fitz and Biana had to go, so Lihn and Tam left as well." I tell a white lie. technically not lying, they did get into a fight, we were talking about the councillors and then they left.

"Ok, Edaline and I are going to go out, we will be home late so there is dinner in the fridge, love you" he pulls me into a hug and kisses my forehead

"Love you too" I say as he goes out the door. I can't believe Keefe is back, after all this time of ignoring me. I almost regret forgiving him, he has betrayed us so many times, what stopping him from betraying us right now? I realise and jump off my bed and run to my closet. I slap him in the face and inflict a little pain on him, not too much but enough to make him feel it.

"Foster..........You........can.......stop.......now" he says between trying to breath

"Where have you been!!!" I shout again, as soon as he stands up.

"I'm sorry Sophie, I've been on a island a little far away, I've needed time to think, about my mother and father, about Fitz about you, about what I did to you, I'm just so sorry." I see a tear slip down his cheek and I sit on my bed, he comes and joins me after a few minutes. Muttering sorry

"It's okay Keefe, why didn't you answer me though, why was your mind silent?"

"Um, I was unconscious for a few weeks, someone brought me to a cave and I've been living there ever since" his eyes are red and puffy and I see bruises on his skin

"When was this?"

"Just after your last check in, I was trying to escape the Neverseen and someone banged me over the head but I hit him with a medlar," I look at him confused, he looks at me and quickly adds "before I blacked out, oh and I stole the medlar from Fintan." as hes syaing this his whole body is shakes. I'm shocked about how he did that, how he actually stole from someone so powerful and not to mention crazy.

"Did you at least see who saved you?" I wrap my arm around him

"All I remember seeing was brown curly hair and green eyes, it didn't look like she had any powers, maybe she was a Beguilers, her voice was very soothing, it did sound like someone I know though, but I'm not sure, I don't really remember." He looks at me confused "do you know who that is?"

"I recognise the description, but I'm pretty sure she's not a elf" I look back at him "she can't be"

"Who do you think she was?"

"My-" the door bangs open before I can finish my sentence

"Sophie Foster, your with that boy!??!"

I hope you liked this chapter, this was one of my favourites, the next chapter will maybe come tomorrow but I'm not totally sure, I may not finish it in time but, I'll try....
