Cora was still scared as hell. But she somehow trusted Frank's words. He wouldn't lie to her, would he? After he had wiped away her tears a soft smile appeared on his face. "Well shall we take you to bed, love? You look very tired".

Cora nodded shyly. Magenta brought her to a room lightened by a red light. She walked to the bed slowly and laid down. She covered herself with the blankets and wanted to sleep. But she couldn't.

She tired to fall asleep for hours, rolled from side to side but gave up. She stood up and went out of the room she was sent too. Only in her underclothes she walked around the castle to explore it a bit. It was lightened by candles.

Suddenly she heard sounds coming from a room across the hall. She went to it and opened the door a bit. She saw Frank sitting on a sofa, smoking a cigarette. The room he was sitting in was filled by exotic looking things and candles. She opened the door just a bit more as Frank noticed her.

"Ah Cora! Come in", he said friendly. Cora came in. She cursed herself for making him notice her since she didn't fully trust him yet. But she sat down next to him.

"Shouldn't you be sleeping by now?", Frank asked after some minutes of silence. "Well I couldn't. So I thought I might just take a look at this wonderful castle", she said. "Oh you're flattering me, darling!", Frank said and laughed a bit.

He than handed Cora the cigarette and she took it. She had never smoked before but she always wanted to try it. When she breathed in the smoke she started to cough furiously which caused Frank to laugh out loud. "Your first time eh?", he said still laughing.

Cora nodded and handed him back the cigarette. "I wonder why.", he said and stared at her with a 'I want know get to know you' look. Cora sighed.

"Well. My parents are very strict. It was fine for me as a child because as a child you don't worry to much. But as soon as I got older I wanted to try new stuff. I wanted to wear different clothes, I wanted to try makeup and drink. Just normal things teenagers do. But my parents forbade it. One day I could not stand it anymore and started to go out with my friends in secret. I still couldn't do everything I want but at least try some of it.".

Frank was listening very interested.
"This evening I couldn't stand any of this anymore. I told my parents to go fuck themselves and ran off in the most revealing dress I could find, which I cut even shorter by the way, and high heels. Well until I got lost in the woods and knocked at your door". Cora looked down.

Suddenly she heard a laugh from Frank. "Well you got some real asshole parents there. You did good by running off you little badass", he said with a smirk. Cora giggled a bit too and started to relax into the sofa. "Oh yes they are. They would've hated you. Hah I bet my mom would've gotten a heart attack if I told her that you were my boyfriend", Cora giggled.

"Ahhh they're the conservative type huh. Yah well I'm glad you came here. Maybe we can show you the colorful side of life.", he said and handed her the cigarette again. "Yeah that'd be great. And I mean wtf is wrong with those conservative people? Just let the others be who they feel like being goddamnit.", Cora said and took another pull in the cigarette. She didn't cough this time.

Another two minutes of silence passed until Frank said: "I'm sorry about before though. I didn't mean to kill Eddie right in front of you".

"Why even kill him? He hasn't done anything wrong. I kind of like you but I'm still scared and I don't know what's wrong with you", she said a little scared again. "It was for the best. He would've gone mad. You see he gave half of his brain to create Rocky. But something went wrong and I knew that just minutes after his awakening he would've gone crazy and hurt my Rocky.", he now said in a sad tune.

"I couldn't have risked that. And he would've died a painful death after going crazy. So it was indeed a mercy killing", he explained to her. "I don't like killing really. But sometimes it's the only way".

Cora looked down. She understood his real intentions. Rocky was his family. This was the moment where Cora's doubts almost disappeared. She would stay. For a bit at least.

They talked a little longer until Cora fell asleep on the sofa. Finally some rest. Frank smiled softly as he heard her quiet snorting. He put a blanket over her and left the room.
