i had always said 'i love you' to george but- he never exactly said it back due to the fact he actually just can't, i always sympathize with him and always reassure him that i don't need him to say it back

"GEORGE-" i heard clay- george's friend yell, we were eating together when george got a call from clay. i hadn't met said clay but george had told me about he quite a few times- and nick-

"what??" george asked laughing, i continued to eat whilst listening into their conversation. of course i trusted george but i sure as hell didn't trust clay- from what george tells me i honestly don't know

"okay well goodbye cLaY" george said, i heard a scream from the other side of the call

"GEORGE WHAT THE- WHAT THE FUUCKK" clay yelled before george hung up, he chuckled

"so- what did he want?" i asked before taking another bite of food, george calmed himself from laughing before answering

"he just was upset because a big wars happening and i'm 'sleeping' through it" he answered now it was my turn to laugh. i slowly calmed down after a bit

"so- clay doesn't y'know-" i said, he shook his head. his eyes widened

"no ew- never" he said, i nodded and continued to eat

"y/n, i really- i really do love you. i wouldn't go behind your back like that and he even knows about you" george said my eyes lit up and looked at him thinking i heard him wrong but he just nodded, i shot up and wrapped my arms around him

"thank you george- you will not regret those words!" i said happily, george smiled back and nodded

"i'd hope so y/n-"
