Later today turned into the next day when Seokmin okays Mingyu to go home. Mingyu stands beside Seokmin's desk and watches as the doctor in training scrawls his signature at the bottom of his prescription papers.
"Okay, Mingyu-ssi, can you sign here while I explain your medication to you?" He asks. Mingyu scans over the documents and recognizes the name of the medication.
"I know how Diazepam works. I used to take it for my muscle problems when I was a kid," Mingyu says.
"Oh, I know that. This grade of Diazepam, however, is laced with another medication currently not on the market. It is only currently available for SAGE users and victims of SAGE-related crimes. Because this drug technically doesn't exist, it won't be on the label in any way, shape, or form. I have to explain the side effects and consequences of abusing this. Is that okay?" Seokmin finishes with a question. Mingyu sighs for what must be the ten billionth time since the incident.
"Yeah, it's fine, I guess. You're the doctor," Mingyu says with an eye roll. The sound of clattering breaks the two out of their conversation as Seokmin is quick to get out of his seat and position himself in between Mingyu and the general direction of the noise.
"Yah! Mingew, or whatever your name is, our Seokminni-hyung may be too nice and pure to say anything about your terrible attitude, but I have no problem knocking down a bitch if I need to," a rather sass-laced voice says.
"Seungkwanni?" Seokmin asks. He relaxes as soon as he watches Seungkwan and Hansol appear from behind one of the partition curtains.
"Sorry, Seokmin-hyung. I was having one of my headaches again, so Kwanni went with me to get some medicine. I'm sorry, but we eavesdropped a little bit," Hansol says as he bows to both Seokmin and Mingyu.
"You don't need to bow to that piece of crap."
"He's a hyung."
"He can't go around disrespecting us just because he's tall, good looking, and has it made."
"He's still a hyung, Kwanni."
"Besides, Seokmin doesn't deserve to be mistreated just because big boy over here is throwing a tantrum over God knows what."
"W-We'll be going now, Seokmin-hyung, Mingyu-ssi," Hansol says as he attempts to push his boyfriend out the room with him. Seokmin chuckles at the behavior of the two. Considering how he first met the couple, seeing them be more. . . Well, loud, and open made Seokmin happy.
"Hey, Vernon, come with me. I'll take care of your headache. Seungkwan, can you explain the side effects for me while I work on Vernon?" Seokmin says as he sits on one of the medical cots. Hansol follows after him and lays on the same bed, laying his head on Seokmin's lap. Seokmin's hands start to glow green as he begins to massage Hansol's head. Seungkwan pouts, but he closes the partitions anyway to give them privacy. He quickly turns his head towards Mingyu and gives him a very pointed glare.
"I don't know what your problem is, but you act like we just ruined your life. You were born with a strong SAGE just like the rest of us here, so just accept it," Seungkwan walks past Mingyu, ignoring the incredulous look on the taller's face, to read the instructions on the laced diazepam before continuing, "So, anyway, Mingew, follow the instructions to the 'T.' The drug combined with the diazepam will supercharge your SAGE at moderate to high doses, which sounds awesome, but it really isn't. Your body won't be able to keep up with extra power, and it will eventually just 'eject' the SAGE. That also isn't a good thing. Trust me. It'll basically either feel like death or be actually death." He languidly hands the medicine to Mingyu and waves him away with a dismissive hand. Mingyu begrudgingly takes the medication and walks out of the medical room.
