Jisoo wakes up with a throbbing headache. His eyes blink, trying to regain focus in his eyes. As his focus comes together, Jeognhan's face comes into view.
"They got you good, didn't they?" Jeonghan asks. Jisoo lets out an annoyed groan before slowly getting up. Looking around to check his surroundings, he notices he is in the previously blocked-off training room. He can see why it was blocked off. It's completely different from before. The room is made of what appears to be a heavy-duty composite mesh-type metal. There appear to be LEDs surrounding the top, and the walls appear to have voids for openings. He searches around and finds everyone, except Seokmin, gathered in the room.
"Jeonghan, we gotta get back to Seokmin. Those guys might still be there," Jisoo says as he scrambles.
"Shua, we don't nee-"
"Hannie! We got to go! We need to gather everyone and save Seokmin from that crazy bit-"
"Hey now, I'd like to have been taken out for dinner before I get called a pok pok. Especially from you, pretty boy. Oh gosh, you're all pretty boys. And then sleeping beauty. Oof, he was just gorgeous," a playful and almost sultry voice chimes in. The members in the room, except for Jeonghan and Seungcheol, find themselves stiffening at the voice. Everyone jumps back and assumes defense stances, albeit delayed ones, when a short, olive-skinned girl, her silver locks tied back in a low ponytail while her layered bangs framed her face, walks in from seemingly nowhere. She wears oversized glasses with transparent frames and black sports straps, keeping them on her face.
"Did she just say what I think she said?" Minghao whispers over to Junhui in Chinese.
"No, honey. I said, 'pok pok.' Not 'pok gai.' It means 'bitch' in Tagalog," she says, in Chinese, nonchalantly. Minghao and Junhui turn white at her almost native-level response to what they thought was a private conversation. She has this nearly predatory look in her eyes as her eyes settle on each member in front of her. The look is unsettling to the members gathered in the room. Even Soonyoung has an uncomfortable grimace on his face. A smack to the back of her head does balance out the tenseness in the room with the comedic jerk of her head.
"V, stop looking at them like you're playing with your food, and come claim your food for real. This is good shit, and I'll eat it if you don't," another unfamiliar face with copper tresses tied back in an effortless ponytail says. One hand holds a drink carrier loaded with four drinks, all of which seem caffeinated. The other hand carries a brown bag with a familiar green logo. The predatory look in the girl's eyes disappears and is replaced with this almost child-like glee as she giggles. Quickly and carefully, she grabs the drink carrier and bag from his hands. Her eyes sparkle as she looks at the array of colored drinks and down into the bag filled almost to the brim with different bakery items. She leans on the copper-haired man, who understands the message and wraps his arms around her.
"Pick one drink and one treat, then join us back up here, please," a voice behind the group calls out. The squad members turn around to see a group of three men behind them.
'Didn't even sense them at all, and they're covered with shadows,' Soonyoung thinks, unnerved by their presence.
'Why does hyung seem unphased?'
'Why does Jeoghan seem unphased?' Chan and Jisoo thought, respectively. Seungcheol and Jeonghan don't seem anxious in any way, shape, or form around the intruders. They seem almost like they were expecting them.
The three men walk through the flock of members, being eyed as they keep their distance from them. The girl who had just run away to put away her treats comes skipping back with a larger cup of what appears to be filled with brown and yellow dough balls and a blue ombre drink topped with citrus pulp, whipped cream, and matcha powder.
