Sunrise Conversation With Peter (Chapter 7)

3rd POV
It was dark out, it was extremely early in the morning. (Y/n) stretched and looked around acknowledging how early it was. She want tired which was a little strange but she figured she'd grab some coffee and go watch the sunrise. She clumsily stumbled out of bed and made her way to her closet to grab some comfy grey sweats and a t-shirt. Then she made her way to the kitchen.
(Y/n) POV
I got to the coffee maker and I didn't know how to use this stupid thing, Steve always made breakfast and made coffee so I don't know.
"Hey FRIDAY?" I whisper yelled.
"Yes (y/n)?"
"Can you make me some coffee?"
"Yes of course."
I grabbed a blanket and waited. The coffee finished and I went to grab mug and rolled my eyes...they were all either Stark Industries, Iron man, or of course AC/DC. I grabbed a Stark (fixed it-no longer steak lmao) industries mug and went out onto the balcony so sit and watch the sunrise.
Peter POV
I sat up in the AC/DC room that Tony told me to stay in and I smelled some coffee and stumbled out of my room without realizing how early it was. I couldn't find anyone so I walked around. I saw someone out on the balcony, just sitting there in the light/dark. I went to join them.
(Y/n) POV
I heard the glass door open and I turned around and saw Peter walking over sort of nervous looking.
"Hey Peter" I greeted him
"Hey (y/n)" he responded. We sat in awkward silence until I broke the silence.
"So you're part the avengers so what superhero are you?"
"I-uh-I'm Spider-Man" Peter stuttered
"Really?! I've heard a lot about him!"
"Really?! That's awesome!!"
We sat in silence again and then Peter spoke.
"So do you have a power?"
"Nah I'm just starks kid so that's why I'm here. He did offer to build a suit with me and that'll be super cool!"
"Wait you and mr Stark are going to build a suit?! That's awesome!!" Peter told me.
Peter and I talked for hours while watching the sun rise and it had been awhile since I connected with someone like that. I felt heat rush up to my face thinking about it. I turned my face away to push away the smile and the redness of my face.
"Hey what are you two doing?" I heard my dad question from behind us, Peter am I both jumped.
"Oh uh we were uh we.." Peter tried to talk but just stuttered.
"Hey kid, go get me some coffee" my dad told him and Peter ran off. "So what we're you two doing out here?" My dad say next to me to ask.
"We were just talking and watching the sunrise."
"The sunrise was like two hours ago!"
"Yea well...." I trailed off
"You two didn't like....kiss right?" My dad looked worried.
"No no no we just met and we're just friends" I informed him, and he just smiled and nodded.
"Alright well what do you say we go and work in your suit." My dad offered and he stood up and said "I'm going to grab the coffee Peter was making and head to the shop, come down when you're ready." And he walked off. About 5 minutes later Peter came back.
"Hey again haha" Peter squeaked.
"Hey I'm going to go work on my new suit with my dad but we can watch the sunset later and talk if you want." I offered.
"Yea yea totally" he said.
"Wait don't you have to go home??" I asked
"No my Aunt may is out of town for a few days so I'm staying here." He informed me and I nodded and said goodbye and went to join my dad.
As I was walking away I couldn't help but smile thinking about what just happened.
