Chapter 2: Monitors

George's POV-

I wake up, groaning slightly as I realize I'm not in my bed.

"Oh my god...I fell asleep on the couch?" I say to myself once I realize I'm on my couch.

"Whatever." I mumble to myself while getting up to check the time.

I walk around for a bit, eventually getting to a digital wall clock and looking at what time it is.

It showed 1:39pm very boldly and clearly.

Did I really sleep for that long? Jesus-

How can someone sleep for like...almost 20 hours?? is that even healthy?

I just brush it off as I must've been very tired, I mean I haven't slept for about...3 days? but honestly sleeping that long did feel good.

I walk away from the clock wondering what to do till then.

Since I do have a couple hours till 11pm.

I start thinking of things to do.

Maybe I could watch a movie? play Minecraft? oo I'll play Minecraft.

I walk over to my room, swiftly turning on my computer and opening Minecraft once I reach and enter my room.

Minecraft is always my go-to thing to do when I'm bored.

I sit down in my chair and see that my friend's Nihachu and Wilbur are in a call so I decide to join them.

"So what if- oh hey George!" Nihachu starts, greeting me once she sees I've joined call.

"Hello, So what have you guys been up to?" I ask.

"Nothing much, we were just talking about maybe doing a speedrun" Wilbur says.

"Oh can I join you guys?" I ask.

"Of course!" Nihachu says sweetly.

I smile and we all join a world, speedrunning for a little bit, then eventually doing a 2v1 manhunt.

Before I know it I look at the time on my computer and see it display 8:46pm.

"Oh my guys we've been playing for like 6 hours" I say surprised.

"Well time flies when you're having fun" Wilbur says.

"Agreed" Nihachu giggled.

"Well I have to go, I got a new job and I have to be there by 11pm" I explain.

"What kind of job needs you there at 11pm at night?" Wilbur asks curiously.

"Well I'm a security guard for this place called Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria." I say.

"Oh...I've heard of that place, there was this group of friends that went there once, they were said to of never returned home, but the case was very quickly brushed aside, I don't know why but it was, but that might've just been a story" Wilbur exclaimed.

"I'm just about to go there and you tell me that?" I say jokingly.

"But really, that's probably just a fictional story since It's kind of a creepy place in general" I say.

"Yeah" Nihachu says.

"Well I'm going to go guys, bye" I say.

"Bye!" Wilbur says.

"Bye George!!" Nihachu says as well.

Then I disconnect from call and stretch a bit, hearing my arm pop suddenly, which felt oddly good.

I sigh and get up, closing and shutting off my computer.

I grab my phone and stuff it into my pocket, opening my door and walking out of my room while shutting it back.

I walk over to the clock to check the time once more, I read 9:34pm that was plastered onto it.

I should probably get going.

I walk over to my front door and grasp my keys, opening the front door and closing it back once I have gone outside.

Once I get outside I walk over to my car, opening the car door and entering the vehicle.

I start up the car and start driving off and out of the neighborhood.

I decide to turn on the radio and listen to a podcast this time, just enjoying the view of the world.

I try not to think about how fucked up this will make my sleep schedule, but that doesn't matter too much.

I start to think about that story Wilbur was telling me about, about those kids, 4 he said? I can't remember...but that did kind of terrify me slightly, seeing as I have to stay with those creepy animatronics all night.

Well...not creepy I guess, just very scarily well put together.

I sigh and try to just listen to the podcast, driving to the Pizzeria.

I finally get to the Pizzeria and park my car, again in the very empty parking lot.

But yet again it is almost 10:00 at night so it does completely make sense.

I brush my thoughts aside as I start walking towards the front doors, opening them and entering the building.

I spot the man, Mike I think was his name, just sorting papers on his desk.

"Hello Mike" I say.

"Oh! Goodness, hello George" He flings his papers around from me accidently frightening him.

"Oh I'm sorry, here I'll help you" I start picking up the papers that landed on the floor and put them back onto his desk.

Once all of the papers were back in order he says,

"Okay George, follow me" He says, getting up.

I nod and follow him to this back area where I'm presuming the office with the security camera monitors are and stuff.

We reach it and he gestures me inside the room, I look around, seeing two doors, a desk with many things like a bunch of monitoring electronics, a fan, an overhead lamp, and a speaker.

"This is where you will be staying all night" He says, and I nod.

"Also through this speaker I will be explaining the instructions and rules okay?" He points towards the speaker.

"Wait why can't you just tell me now? It's only 10:30" I say.

"Well I have to be somewhere.....but for now I will explain everything through the speaker." He says cautiously.

"Okay..."I agree confusedly.

I watch him walk away pretty fast as well, I hear the front doors open and close, with a simple click of the lock.

Soon enough I hear a car start up and drive away, presumably his car.

I sigh and look down at everything, finding the chair to the desk and sitting on it, waiting for him to talk to me for instructions.
