Chapter 9- Taking the battle to new heights

Ash and Serena looked at the figure with a shocked expression, ash stuttered the words he'd been meaning to say as soon as he saw the figure out, " G--G-Greninja?" Ash said almost on the verge of tears and fell on his knees, all of Ash's pokemon except his Kalos once were wondering how their trainer knew it, greninja nodded to Ash and came forward giving Ash a hand to stand up, Ash took the hand and stood up then turning the helping hand into a firm handshake, "Y-You don't know how much I missed you!" Ash said still in a handshake with the Greninja.

"I've missed you too Old friend" Greninja replied, "Hey greninja how are ya?" Serena comes up and asks causing greninja to pull away from the handshake, "Hello Serena, I'm doing good I hope it's the same with you,"  Greninja replied, "Yes of course, I'm doing good too" Greninja was dumbfounded but then connected the dots from when he saw Them both using aura to now being able to understand him.

"Hey greninja, I know someone who can't wait to see you!" Serena told greninja in a teasing tone which made him blush furiously, Out of nowhere Braixen came out of nowhere and hugged greninja, he was surprised at first but then returned the hug with as much passion, "Ooooh I see someone is like his trainer" Lucario said in a sassy voice, "What do you mean 'like his trainer' lucario?" Greninja was confused at the use of his trainers name in context to him hugging braixen.

"Oh you don't know Ash and Serena are DATING!!" Replied a gardevoir at this greninja smirked at Ash, he knew those two would end up together, Ash blushed furiously, Now every one of Ash's pokemon went up and introduced themselves to Greninja, at last came Zeraora and much to everyones surprise he fist bumped greninja then As Ash tried to read through the adventures greninja had through their bond phenomenon he realized that they both knew each other from when an ultra wormhole opened in kalos and Zeraora came out of it and Apparently Greninja helped Zeraora out to get him back to his world.

"So, Greninja, would you like to join the family again?" Ash asked greninja as he held out greninja's pokeball, and Greninja fist bumped it.

Ash released greninja and said, "Welcome back to the family greninja" as he hugged him, "So wanna try out bond phenomenon again!?" Ash asked greninja in excitement, "You didn't really expect me to say no now did you..", Greninja replied in a cold tone, "ALRIGHT" Ash said like a child who just got permission to buy anything he could from a candy store, 

"Zeraora would you mind battling us?" Ash asked Zeraora with Puppy dog eyes, Zeraora sweatdropped and said "yea sure, I'd like to see how you've grown greninja!", Greninja replied with confidence "You won't regret it!", "I'll act as the referee" Said Serena, "So the battle between Ash Ketchum and Zeraora... BEGIN!"

"Greninja, use double team then quick attack and use the momentum to power up a cut!" Ash commanded greninja as he complied

"Alright, Close combat" Zeraora said as funny as it sounds commanding itself

Greninja created multiple copies of itself  as each of them had a white Kunai in their hands, Zeraora used close combat to fend off each one of the clones but when he did clear all the clones the real greninja was nowhere to be found. Zeraora stood there dumbfounded only to be attacked by a cut when Greninja appeared in front of Zeraora, Turns out greninja was running around so fast that he wasn't visible to Zeraora.

"Great, now greninja water shuriken into a dark pulse!" Ash told greninja as he did as told

"Okay now, PLASMA FIST!" Zeraora said as it slammed it's fists into the ground,

"OKAY GRENINJA LETZ GO,  STRONGER AND STRONGER TOGETHER!!" Ash chanted as a veil of water appeared around greninja, and it jumped into the air and the veil soon dissipated to form into a giant shuriken and assembled itself onto Greninja's back,  He then picked the shuriken up and pulled his arms back to gather momentum and then threw it towards Zeraora, Zeraora stood there dumbfounded while seeing the sight infront of him, the shuriken soon clashed into Zeraora and made it flinch in pain it was about to stand up as greninja slammed it's fists together to release a dark aura in the form of a ring, the dark rings hit Zeraora and made it fall to it's knees. 

However Greninja did take a very powerful blow from plasma fist and it looked like if Zeraora landed the next hit Greninja would faint however instead of scaring Ash it made adrenaline pump into his veins and Greninja could also feel that feeling of numbness that feeling that hieghtned his senses.

"Now greninja let's finish it up with a Water shuriken!" Ash told greninja and Greninja pulled slapped it's thighs and bought out 2 water shurikens,

"Okay then, let's end this with PLASMA FIST!!" Zeraora Said as he slammed his fists onto the ground yet again this time releasing Blue bolts of electricity from the ground.

With that Ash started seeing visions to his battle with Alain.
