Chapter 19- Let the Tournament BEGIN!

~The day of the Tournament~

"HELLO ALL, TODAY'S THE FIRST DAY OF THE LUMIOUS TOURNAMENT!, SO LET'S JUMP RIGHT INTO IT!" The announcer said as he literally jumped from a gallery to the battlefield 20 feet below it, "SO LET'S HAVE A LOOK AT TODAY'S MATCHUPS!" The announcer announced as he pointed toward a big screen that had many faces, Ash looked for his hooded face and he found it only to later find out that his first match was against cilan, He was excited at first to meet another one of his friends but then realized that he can't know Ash's true identity,

"So We'll have 2 matches per day, one in the morning and one in the evening we have six rings so each ring will be having one match at one time!" The announcer explained, "ALRIGHT THE MATCHUPS ARE, 

First ring: Clarissa VS Fione

Second ring: Mohn VS lillie

Third ring: Gary VS Brock

Fourth ring: Max VS May

Fifth ring: Drew VS Dawn

Sixth ring: Red VS Cilan

Seventh ring: Leaf VS Pema

Eight ring: Misty VS Elio

"The battles for the prelims are going to be 3 on 3 you can use mega evolution or Z moves as you wish" The announcer told, the group was surprised that misty was there, they ignored it as the battlers went on to their respective rings, "Guys I'mma go to watch Ash's match, kay?" Serena said to which clemont, leaf, bonnie and Korrina replied, "I'mma come too" they all said in unison as the group headed towards ring 6,  

"The battle between Red Tokugawa and Cilan, BEGIN!" The referee shouted,

"Pikachu I choose you!" Ash told his buddy, "Pansage, let's evaluate!" Cilan sent out his partner,

"Pikachu quick attack into an Iron tail being powered by the speed!" Ash commanded, "Alright pansage,  Let's start it up with spice, use dig!" Cilan commanded his partner and it did so, Ash smirked at this, "Pikachu stay in quick attack for now, as soon as I say go Use your tail to spring up" Ash told his buddy, Cilan was confused for once that why'd the trainer tell his pokemon to stop but then it clicked, Rumbles could be heard from the ground meaning pansage was about to come out, "NOW!" Ash exclaimed as Pikachu used his tail to spring up only to see that a pansage burst out from the ground right after that, 

"NOW PIKACHU, IRON TAIL AND KEEP SPINNING IN THE AIR!" Ash commanded, Pikachu started front flipping in the air at a high speed so high that now all that was visible of his body was a yellow orb that was rushing towards the ground at high speeds, The Iron tail now looked like a metal blade that Pikachu was carrying and it created a circle around his body, "Pansage use rock tomb to smack that Pikachu to the ground!" Cilan told his partner, "Pikachu Cut right through!" Ash told his buddy, big Shards of rock started appearing out of the ground and were thrown at Pikachu, however Pikachu didn't even flinch he just cut through the rocks like they were butter, 

Pikachu landed his attack on pansage, a huge cloud of smoke appeared, nothing could be seen, "Wow that was some strategy Ash had there" Leaf commented, "I know right, using Iron Tail as a blade to cut through the rocks and doing more damage to pansage," Serena agreed, "Just realized, it only took Ash 2 moves to beat that pansage," Clemont stated that the Pansage was already beaten, the cloud cleared revealing a fainted pansage and a Pikachu standing proudly, "Pansage return, Stunfisk I choose you!" Cilan said as he sent out his ground, Electric type Pokemon, "Sceptile, Show em what you got!" Ash sent out his Darkrai Slayer, 

"Stunfisk use Mud Bomb!" Cilan told his Pokemon, "Sceptile, massacre, Use quick Attack into leaf blade!" Ash said in a cold tone as sceptile got even more pumped up, his eyes had a new flare, Sceptile began rushing forward and as of now he was nothing but a green blur, the Blur Cut through the Mud bomb using his leaves and dashed forward, suddenly cries of stunfisk in pain started to come, "Stunfisk don't worry we'll win this, Sludgebomb!" Cilan exclaimed, "Alright Sceptile Agility, then Plant Bullet seeds into the ground below stunfisk!" Ash commanded his friend, Cilan was smirking at the thought he was winning, "Stunfisk use rain dance, let the rain soak the ground then finish it up with scald!" Cilan told his pokemon his strategy, Stunfisk jumped in the air a few times and it started raining, Little did they know that this was Ash's plan all along,

Suddenly sharp vines started appearing from the ground and soon caged Stunfisk, "H--How?!" Cilan asked, "Bullet seeds, they're seeds and seeds grow!" Ash explained in a nonchalant manner, "Stunfisk SLUDGE WAVE!" Cilan commanded his Pokemon as a wave of Purple poison made it's way towards the Leaf Warrior and made contact, Sceptile fainted to this, "Sceptile you did well return, Lucario appear!" Ash said to which a Lucario came from behind Ash as he backflipped onto the field, "End this, Bone rush!" Ash commanded as A bone appeared in Lucarios hand and it ran towards the stunfisk and hit it, the ground electric type Pokemon flew backwards and slammed into a wall,

"Stunfisk Return, Abomasnow let's season this match I choose you!" Cilan bought out a snow giant, "LET'S BOND TOGETHER LIKE CURRY AND RICE, MEGA EVOLVE!" Cilan chanted as everyone sweatdropped, Abomasnow got covered in a stone like orb and soon came out as a mega abomasnow, "Lucario, Aura sync" Ash stated calmly as he put an arm up and focused a very concentrated aura sphere in it, the aura sphere got bigger and absorbed Lucario, it soon blasted only to show a mega evolved lucario in it's place, 'OMG's' could be heard from the crowd,

"Alright Lucario let's finish this match, Nasty Plot into Flash canon!" Ash  Told his now mega evolved friend as a dark aura surrounded the Lucario, "Abomasnow this match will end and we'll prevail USE ROCK TOMB!" Cilan told his mega evolved pokemon as Rocks from the ground started speeding towards Lucario, "Return them using bone rush," Ash commanded as a blue bone appeared in Lucario's Hand, he used it to deflect the Rocks and return them towards the abomasnow, "Abomasnow Avalanche to slow the rocks down!" Cilan strategized, 

"Lucario, flash canon now!" Ash told his Lucario as he put his Arms a position, (Imagine a Mega Lucario in a Kamehameha Position) A white orb appeared in between his palms as he threw his palms forward, the white orb now extended into a beam of steely white light and it hit the abomasnow and even broke through the avalanche attack put there to guard the latter "Abomasnow, Bulldoze!" Cilan sqeezed in a last attack as the attacks made contact with the targets a thick smoke covered the battle field, 'The match can go anywhere now,' Both battlers thought, 

The smoke soon cleared to show both Pokemon standing, one Pokemon flinched a bit but in the end another one fell on the ground and fainted,

"THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH IT......
