"Yes! I win!" Bill shouted, tossing the remote control in front of him.
Dipper only groaned, Bill winning the video game meant he got to pick the movie they were going to watch that night, and he always picked scary ones.
Bill laughed at Dippers pout, he knew how much Dipper hated the scary movies he would pick, that's why he picked the ones that even made him flinch.
"What are we watching tonight?" Dipper asked as he put away the game set, his tone of voice nervous yet annoyed.
"It's a surprise." Bill smirked, watching as Dipper got even more tense than before.
"Billlll" Dipper whined. "It's bad enough we're watching a horror movie but now you won't even tell me which one?"
"Nope, you gotta wait until tonight to find out." Dipper pouted even more, causing Bill to chuckle, although he stopped when Dipper put his arms around his neck.
"Please tell me?" Dipper begged, giving his best puppy dog eyes (Mabel taught him that) and getting extra close to Bill.
As much as Bill hated the effect Dipper had on him, he loved the fact that someone in the universe actually had the ability to.
"Fine" He of course gave in, as he always did, but the smile on Dippers face when he surrendered was worth it. "We're watching The Boy II." (Never seen it too scared to don't judge) Dippers smile quickly faded at the mention of that movie, one he specifically didn't want to watch above all the others.
Bill knew this of course, but he loved when Dipper got scared. The more terrified Dipper was the closer he would get to Bill.
The fear on Dippers face would have been visible from a mile away, but Bill only grinned, holding Dippers waist tighter and planting a kiss on his nose.
"You'll be fine. See you tonight!" And with that he disappeared, most likely to his own room in the shack, leaving Dipper alone in his room to mentally prepare for the heart attack he's going to face later.Time skiperoo
Dipper sat perfectly still on the couch, waiting for Bill to return with the popcorn and the movie. He was so nervous he didn't even lay back or let himself relax, he was barely settled into the couch, ready to leave and run away at any given moment.
"Ready Pinetree?!" Bill yelled from behind Dipper, purposely scaring him.
"Dammit Bill!" Dipper exclaimed as Bill hopped over the backside of the couch and sat down next to Dipper.
"Don't pretend you don't love it." Bill joked, taking a handful of popcorn before setting the bowl down on the coffee table.
"I don't." He replied. Bill laughed and set up the movie for the two.
Once it was done, Bill sat back down next to Dipper, closer than before, not that either of them minded that.
Dipper had never been more grateful for commercials than he was in that moment, and that he never told Bill it was possible to skip them when they were going over human things.
All good things must come to an end though, and Dipper knew that when he heard the music for the movie start and saw the title appear on the screen.
"A-are you sure you don't want to watch something else?" Dipper asked, subconsciously moving closer to Bill.
"No way. I've been looking forward to this forever, we're watching it." Dipper only made a face at the tv and hoped it wasn't as scary as everyone made it out to be.Nope. It was much scarier than people made it out to be.
Dipper was basically in Bills lap at this point, trying to get as close as he could to Bill and focus on him instead of the movie.
They were only an hour in and Dipper hated it more than any other movie he and Bill had ever watched together, and there were a lot.
There was one specific scene that almost made Dipper scream, he quickly hid his face in Bills shoulder and Bill could tell it wasn't all fun and games for him anymore.
Bill lifted Dippers chin with his finger and kissed him, Dipper understanding the gesture was a way to distract him from the movie. Dipper moved to sit fully on Bills lap, who placed his hands on his waist to steady him. Dippers arms went around Bills neck as the kiss was quickly getting more heated.
"Is the scary part over?" Dipper asked pulling away, as his back was to the tv. Bill looked at the screen seeing that the scene was in fact over.
"No I think it's going to last another 5 minutes, maybe 10." Bill smirked, once again planting his lips on Dippers before the boy had time to think about it.
Bill was quick to speed up the process, moving his hands underneath Dippers shirt. Dipper smiled at the action and welcomed it, using his own hands to remove Bills shirt as well.
"Ugh get a room you two!" They suddenly heard, and looking up Dipper saw Mabel in the kitchen grabbing a PittCola.
Bill was annoyed by the intrusion but brushed it off. "Last I checked this was a room Shooting Star!" He replied, earning a smile from Dipper and an eye roll from Mabel, who left the kitchen and headed back towards her room.
"Wanna go to your room?" Dipper asked, grinning at Bill who was shocked to say the least, he was usually the one asking.
"Gladly." He replied. Both stood up and walked towards his room, completely forgetting about the movie.
