Being at The Next Step was going really well for Harper so far. She had made a lot of great friends in J Troupe after being at the studio for almost a week, although she was particularly fond of Noah. He seemed to always be there just when she needed him and was able to make her laugh whenever. Noah was also glad to have found a friend in Harper, although she did still make him feel a little nervous.

The pair were currently sitting in squeezed which was the vibrant juice bar in the same building as the studio. They had another rehearsal to head off to soon after so they were trying to soak up their last few moments of freedom.

"Hey," Noah said in a distant voice as he looked to be in deep thought about something. Harper raised her eyebrow as she glanced over to him. "You think I should get another cat? Montevideo looks a little lonely at the moment and I feel like he could use a buddy you know?"

"What would you call it, Copenhagen?" Harper chuckled to herself and Noah didn't quite seem to understand it at first but soon enough the penny dropped.

"You know that's not even that bad a name." He commented with a small nod making her smile slightly before realising what time it was. Their rehearsal wasn't due to start for another ten minutes, although they'd been in Squeezed for so long Harper could have used a change in atmosphere. Noah also seemed to notice the time as his eyes wandered to the clock on the wall. "Should we head to rehearsals now?"

"Yeah it's probably a good idea." She replied as they both finished their drinks and headed toward studio B. Just before they reached the room, both of them saw Michelle storm out without even noticing them.

"What's with her?" Noah inquired assuming that Harper would know, but she had no clue. With a shrug, the younger blonde pushed the door open and found that the studio was not empty as she expected. Instead there was a disheartened looking boy and girl whom Harper had never met, though Noah seemed to know who they were. "What are you guys doing in here?" He asked the pair who turned towards the J Troupers.

"We were just talking to Michelle. Who's this?" The girl asked as she turned her attention to Harper sending her a small smile. Harper had no idea in the slightest who these people were.

"Yeah who's your friend Noah?" The boy teased him with a smirk. Harper glanced over to Noah in confusion and noticed a blush had brushed over his cheeks but he quickly hid it by pretending to fix his hair.

"Uh this is Harper, she's Michelle's sister." He introduced her so the young blonde smiled. Being introduced as 'Michelle's sister' stung a little but she supposed that was the only way they would know her. "Harper this is James and Riley from A Troupe."

"Oh right, aren't you Emily's sister?" Harper asked cautiously as she eyed Riley. Michelle had told her all about Emily, she started off seeming nice but soon turned out to be extremely rude for no reason. She had decided to hate Michelle since the moment she walked into the studio.

"Yeah but don't worry we're very different." Harper nodded slightly assured, although she was soon filled with confusion as she glanced over to James. He looked as though a lightbulb had gone off inside his head.

"Do you guys need something or..." Noah trailed off as he noticed that the time was ticking on and their rehearsal was due to begin soon.

"We just need a favour." James told them with a scheming look on his face. "Can you please try and convince Michelle to help us overthrow Emily as dance captain? She's our best bet for winning regionals and we just aren't getting there with Emily."

"You really wanna overthrow your own sister? Isn't that a little extreme?" She asked directing her attention back toward Riley. Harper couldn't imagine doing something like that to Michelle, although all sister's were different she supposed. Noah told her that A Troupe drama was worse than some of the soap operas his mom watched and that was really saying something, so she wasn't all that surprised.
