Harper and Noah had their fair share of drama on A Troupe together, but their adventures first began long before that. When Harper joined The Next Step dance studio alongside her older sister Michelle, she was immediately overwhelmed by the new atmosphere but finding a fast friend in Noah really helped her to cope and enjoy her time there. There were endless stories of the pair's mischief and fun, and this was only the beginning of their story.

a/n: welcome to the prequel! first of all, a huge thanks to all the people who have read, voted and commented on 'Empire', if that book wasn't a success then this one wouldn't exist so you've all made it happen and i could not be more thankful. just a quick disclaimer, i don't own any plots and characters from the next step, i only own harper and her own plot.
she will be a little different in this book because in Empire she was dealing with a lot of personal trauma that happened from season 3 onwards but this book will take place long before all that. she will still be a little bit shy and reserved because that's part of her personality but she will be more social than she was before and that's all i'm gonna say ;). i hope everyone enjoys! :)
