Spawn of Light and Dark

Chapter 2

Transportation was a pain. Every time Syph tried to fall asleep, the troopers would hit him. He would just give a death glare at them before starring at his lightsabers.

The ships landed on a planet that was mostly a desert and lava terrain. They walked for a few hours before they had to make a stop and wait for transport. More imperial ships arrived on the planet but before they could land, they were taking fire and exploded.

A huge ship with a rebel symbol appeared and fired off a few shots before flying off again. Syph smirked as he slammed both his hands on the ground and made a huge force wave which knocked everyone down.

He pulls both of his lightsabers to him and cuts himself free before running off. aHe ran over mountains and under lava falls before the rebel ship came down again with the side door open and with a young woman standing out.

???: Hurry! Get on!

Second Sister: Going somewhere?

Syph turned around saw the Second Sister descend with the force and ignited her red blades. Syph activated both of his lightsabers before standing his ground. After a while of standing around, he bolted to the ship behind him.

The Second Sister was hot on his trail and tried to attack him, but was stopped by shots with a blaster near her feet. Syph ran and ran before leaping into the air and onto the platform and rolling into the ship.

The Second SIster was close that when the door closed, she left burnt marks on the door before landing back on the ground and deactivating her weapon.

Syph stood back up before being met with blasters at his body.

Rebel: Why do you have a red lightsaber?!

Syph: That's none of your business.

Rebel: Why would we save someone who wields a Sith weapon?!

Rebel: Why do you also have a blue lightsaber? Did you take it off the corpse of the Jedi you killed?!

Syph: These lightsabers belong to me by birthright. I don't care what the color is or what it means.

???: That's quite enough. There's no point in dwelling on it now.

Rebel: Yes, Captain. But I don't see why we should risk our lives for this person.

Syph: Who are you people anyway.

???: We're the rebels of the republic. I'm Cere, the captain of this ship and the squad.

Syph deactivated his lightsabers and placed them onto his belt.

Syph: Your aura... you're a Jedi, aren't you?

Cere: Former Jedi now. I separated from the Jedi order during the purge and abolished the title.

Syph: I see. So what do you want from me?

Cere: We need help and you're the only one who can do the job.

Syph: Which is?

Cere: There's a Holocron made by Jedi Master Cordova. It's a device that contains a list of force-sensitive children throughout the galaxy. With the proper training, they can be the force we need to stand a chance against the Empire.

Syph: Seeing as you saved my skin from the Empire, I'm not in the position to say no. So where is this Holocron?

Cere: It's locked away within the Bogano vault and as the name suggests, It's on Bogano. It's a planet that was discovered before the purge and you can't find it on any maps or systems.

Syph: So what does this have to do with me?

Cere: Only Jedi are allowed to open the vault. Any person on the dark side isn't able to access it.
