Eiji tightened his grip on the bag in his arms as the small boy in front of him growled, "Go away." "I'm sorry! But you're hurt!" "Why would you care?! You're probably carrying a knife or something to hurt me.." Eiji pouted before he tossed his bag in front of the boy, "Check my bag then! I just want to help!" The blonde slowly opened the bag to find herbal remedies and bandages. He looked up before letting the boy kneel next to him. "I'm Eiji..I'm turning six tomorrow..what about you?" He gently held the boy's arm up to him so he could clean the wound. "I'm Aslan...I'm five.." "Aslan is a pretty name..." "Thanks.." Eiji wrapped the boy's wound before nodding, "All better!" Ash looked at the boy's work before moving his arm. He winced as pain shot through his arm. "Ow..." "Does it still hurt?" "Yeah.." Eiji hummed as he thought being nodding. He gave the bandaged wound a small kiss before softly placing his hand over it, "Pain, pain go away!" He giggled as the blonde blushed softly. "Thank you.."

-Years Later-

Eiji's forehead was slammed against his desk forcing the boy awake, "Ouch..I must have dozed off..." He sighed as he stood up. "Eiji! We found that damn shapeshifter." "Oh...Really?" Ibe smiled, "Yeah, you're ready to kill them right?" "Right...totally..." Ibe patted Eiji's shoulder, "You'll be alright. Let's get you to the dungeons where they've kept 'em." Eiji silently followed the man as servants passed them. Skip bumped into the boy as they made it to the stables, "Sorry Eii-Chan!" "It's alright. I'm going out today so you can stay in my room again." "Yay! Thank you!" Eiji waved the boy off as Ibe hooked the horse up to a carriage. "Eiji." "Yes..?" The man was handed a sword, "Use that. We'll leave you alone as soon as we get to the building." "R..right.."

Eiji opened the building's door, clutching the sword in his hand. "Good luck Eiji." He closed the door behind him before walking down the spiral stairs to the dungeons. Ash lifted his head to look at the boy, "Hey..You've aged well." "Aslan...Why did you let yourself get caught...?" "I had a good run. Might as well go out with a-" Ash cut himself off as he noticed the tears falling from Eiji's eyes. "Eiji..?" "I..I don't want to kill you..." He covered his mouth as a sob escaped his lips. The blonde softened his gaze, "I..Eiji..I didn't mean.." "That's why I wouldn't let you near me...you would get caught..and they would make me hurt you.." "I thought you were scared of me..." "No..Why would I be? Just because you're stronger then me doesn't mean I'm scared..."

"Eiji, I..." Ash looked away. Eiji tossed the weapon aside, kicking it across the room. "I'm not hurting you." "Don't you have to..?" "Not if I told them you escaped." The boy tugged on the chains holding Ash's hand to the wall. "Eiji! We have to get-" Shorter paused as he stared at Eiji. The boy bit his lip, "What." "Uh...What are you doing..?" Ash looked at Eiji who was continuously tugging on the metal, "Eiji...just do it, there's no way to break them." "I'm not killing you Aslan." "Eiji, we have to get you out of here." "Why? Can't you see I'm busy?" "We got word that a kingdom had declared war and they're coming this way." Eiji groaned as he kicked the cell's wall, "Right now?! Can anything go my way?" Shorter glanced at the blonde, "Can..I can't believe I'm asking a monster this..Can you help?" Ash nodded, "I could get Eiji away faster then your carriages." "Don't call him a monster." "Eiji, it's fine. I get it all the time. If he'll let me help you, I'll deal with the name calling." Shorter shook his head before tossing Eiji the key to Ash's chains and running up the stairs, "Alright! I didn't see anything!" Eiji thanked him and quickly unlocked the metal cuffs around his wrists. Ash rubbed his wrists as he stood up,
"Thank you.."

Eiji picked the sword up before placing the weapon in the sheath on his hip. Ash placed his hand on the boy's shoulder, "Alright let's get you away from here." "How?" "Ride me."

Eiji's face turned bright red, "Huh..wha?!" Ash blinked before blushing. He took a couple steps back holding his hands above his head, "Not what I meant- I meant like I shift and like fly away with you- I'm so sorry-" "That makes more sense.."

The two exited the building. "Eiji can you go- WHAT IS HE DOING FREE?!!?" Eiji ignored Ibe and turned his attention to Ash, "Is this space big enough?" "Yeah, take a couple steps back. I don't want to hurt you." Ash clasped his hands together after Eiji followed the boy's instructions. He soon shifted into a dragon, his scales matching his eyes. He bowed his head as Eiji reached out to pet his giant nose. "You ready?" Ash nodded folding his wing outwards for the boy to climb on his back. "Hang on." Eiji nodded as Ash took off. Shorter whistled, "Damn."

(Why am I laughing it is literally not funny-)

Eiji watched the world below him in awe. "You see this every time you fly?" "Yeah." "It's amazing.." He leaned his head against Ash's neck, "You're amazing..." Ash blushed internally as he turned towards a mountain cave. He landed, shifting before Eiji could hop off. Eiji yelped as he fell though Ash caught him, "Hey." "Nice catch..please don't do that again.." "Right, sorry." He walked into the cave, carrying Eiji bridal style. The boy didn't complain, instead he placed his head on the boy's shoulder and closed his eyes. "Hey, don't fall asleep on me..." "I was just resting my eyes." Ash smiled softly at the boy as he sat down. Eiji sighed in contentment, "You got away.." "Eiji you know I have to bring you back right?" "No you don't." "Eiji-" "I don't want to go back...I'd rather be around you, just the two of us.." He took Ash's hand intertwining their fingers, "Forever..." Ash blushed as he looked at Eiji. "Okay...If that's what you want.." "Good.." Eiji smiled as he placed his head on the blonde's shoulder again. Ash softly kiss the boy's hand as he noticed his boy's snores.
