~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Eiji nervously looked around the bar. He kept by Ibe's side as he tried remembering the small English he was taught. A kid was speaking with Ibe though Eiji couldn't understand anything he was saying. "Oh, whose that behind you?" "This is Eiji. He knows just a little English." Eiji gave a small wave guessing they were talking about him because of Ibe's gestures towards the boy. "Hello!"
Eiji almost passed out. He was expected to speak. He would've studied English more if he expected to speak and not just take pictures. Granted he studied night and day, everything escaped his mind. "Eiji? Are you alright?" "I...I forgot everything!" Skip tilted his head, "Is he okay?" "Ah, yes. He's just a bit nervous and new to English." Skip patted the boy's shoulder. Eiji let out a sigh and bowed as an apology.
"Let's take some photos to calm you down." "Okay..." Eiji set up his camera and started taking shots of the gang bar. "Hey, do you mind not taking pictures of me?" Eiji looked up and panicked. He couldn't understand anything the blonde was saying. He glanced around for Ibe but the photographer was busy talking with others. Eiji swallowed as the blonde tilted his head. "Hello? I asked you a question." The bar went silent by the two. "I-I'm Sorry." Eiji's face went red with embarrassment. He couldn't understand anything that was happening around him. Ibe was busy and he had made a mistake.
Skip ran towards Ash, "Ash! He can't speak English!" Ash turned to face the kid, "Huh? Oh...uh.." He looked back at Eiji whose eyes were filled with tears. The boy clutched his camera to his chest as he held his breathe. Ash softened his gaze, "Ah, please don't cry! I'm sorry!" Skip went to grab Ibe as Ash panicked. "Uh, Bones? Little help?" "I dunno boss! Uh, hug him?"
Ash awkwardly hugged the boy who just ended up sobbing harder. "Shit, uh shhh, it's fine!" Eiji leaned into the blonde subconsciously as he cried. The younger boy patted his head awkwardly. Ibe jogged over with Skip leading the way. "Eiji are you alright?" Eiji shook his head, "I'm sorry....I didn't mean to make him mad..." "Uh Sorry, Sir, I think I made him cry. I have this thing against my picture getting taken and I didn't know he didn't know english. Can you tell him I'm sorry?" Ibe smiled, "Of course. Eiji, it's alright. He says it's okay." Eiji glanced up realized he was leaning on the boy. His face heated up and he wiggles out of the blonde's grip. "Ah! Sorry, sorry! I...I'll just leave..." The boy didn't wait for anyone's reply and took off out the door.
He wiped his eyes cussing under his breath. "Can't even remember the language you studied for months...what an idiot.." He heard a group of people talking behind him though he couldn't understand anything. Soon he felt a rag getting pressed against his mouth and nose. "What, Who?!" His eyes fluttered shut as he passes out.
Shorter opened the back door, "We got problems! Arthur is coming his way!" "Shit, we just had someone leave the front door." Ash took off outside and looked around for the foreign boy. Ibe had followed him, "Eiji!! Where are you?!" Ash noticed a car speeding off in his peripheral vision. He pulled out his gun and shot one of the tires. "Damn. They're getting away. SHORTER." "Already got the bike ready!" Shorter pulled up next to Ash who hopped on. The two sped off after the car. "Shorter I need you to move your head. Perfect." Ash shot at another tire. The car stopped and a group of body guards exited.
Eiji's unconscious body was carried out of the car with three guys surrounding him. Ash hopped off and didn't miss a beat as he pulled the driver into a choke hold and pointed his gun at the they're head. "Let the boy go." The men looked at each other as if questioning the gang leader's threat. Shorter pulled up and spun a knife around his hand, "You heard him." Eiji was tossed towards Shorter who caught him. The two boys got back on the bike with the unconscious Eiji. Ash held the boy close to his chest as Shorter drove back to the bar.
Eiji woke up to see himself on a bike driving through the streets of New York City. He looked up to see the blonde. Ash smiled softly at the now awake boy in his arms, "Good morning." "Is he awake?" "Yeah, don't talk to much. He'll get more confused." The Japanese boy leaned into the blonde's arms. "Where arm I?" Ash gestured to the bike. "Safe." Eiji could understand that word. He closed his eyes and nodded, "T-han-k yo-ou." Ash's face heated up at the sound of Eiji's horrible English. Shorter glanced back at Ash and laughed, "Flustered?" "N-no...I'm fine."
The two got to the bar and Ibe sighed in relief. "Eiji, you're alright!" Eiji was placed down though Ash didn't remove his hand from the older boy's shoulder. Shorter went to park the bike behind the bar. Skip hugged Eiji, "You're okay!" Eiji nodded, "I'm o-okay." "Thank goodness. I was so worried." "I don't know what happened but I'm okay!" Ash watched the two speak forgetting the Skip went back to the bar. "Ibe, Sir, I have a question." "That is?" Eiji tilted his head at the blonde confused at what was happening. "Could I..uh...maybe teach him...English?" "I wouldn't mind that. Eiji how would feel him teaching you English?" Eiji's face lit up, "Really! I would love that!"
And that's how I started learning English with Ash. I was now somewhat fluent and could hold a small conversation. I'm living with Ash in a large condo he had bought with the money from someone. He told me not to worry about it, though I am concerned it's someone dangerous.
"Ash, where were you." Eiji pouted as he leaned on the blonde's shoulder. Ash laughed softly and tossed his gun on the coffee table. "Hello Eiji. I was just out, no need to worry." He kissed the Japanese boy's forehead and went to the kitchen table. "Fine, Don't tell me where you were. I was just worried about my boyfriend." Ash smiled softly, "You forget that you taught me Japanese."
Oh did I forget to mention we're dating as well?
"I'm sorry dear, I just had to help Shorter out with some gang business." "How's your brother?" "Better. I have a visit scheduled if you want to come." Eiji smiled as he started pulling down ingredients for dinner. "Of course I'll go. What would you like tonight?" "Hm....anything you want." Alright love."
"Chirasizushi, it's one of my favorites." Eiji placed the plate in front of Ash. "It looks almost as great as you." "A-Ash!!" The blonde laughed as he started eating. Eiji sighed and sat down across from his lover. The two ate as they held a comfortable conversation. Ash finished though Eiji didn't notice. The blonde admired his lover's features as the older boy talked.
"You're staring." Eiji smirked as he watch Ash's face heat up. "How could I not? You're so beautiful..." "Your such a flirt." The boy laughed as the blonde stood up and kissed his forehead.
The two decided to watch a movie which ended up with Eiji falling asleep in Ash's arms. "Goodnight my dear Eiji." Ash kissed the boy's cheek and closed his eyes. Little did the blonde know, Eiji was awake. He smiled as he nuzzled his face into Ash's chest, "Goodnight Ash.."
