Happy holidays! I am suppose to be with family but some people can't figure out how to wear masks 🥰 🗡so I'm home despite all the planning my family made to go (safely by quarantining for two weeks) to Texas for Christmas! Yay 2020!
I hope you all are having a better Christmas then I am currently! My apologizes if you got a notification saying I posted! It wasn't working correctly so I had to republish it but here is the final result!
I personally celebrate Christmas so this story is mostly that! If you celebrate something else please let me know what you and your family does! I'm interested in what others do for the holidays!
Now on to the oneshot! And as always bold is Japanese
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everyone in the condo gasped, "YOU'VE NEVER CELEBRATED CHRISTMAS???!!" Ash slide down in his seat embarrassed, "Not since like my childhood..." Bones shook the blonde by the shoulders, "We would've celebrated with you if you told us!!" "I forgot what...day...Christmas was..." Everyone shouted at the same time, "WHAT?!" "Kong get him a plane ticket, you know who I'm talking about. Skip, get Shorter to buy all the decorations possible. Move men, move!" Ash blinked but sighed as everyone left the condo. He got up and walked to the small guest room Eiji had previously used. The camera was still set up and on the desk next to it held the older boy's discarded jacket. Ash picked the jacket up and tied it around is neck like a little kid would pretend their jacket was a cape. He picked Eiji's letter up from the desk and threw himself on the bed. The blonde had read the penmanship for almost a million times. But he read the words again.
"I would love to spend Christmas with Ash! My family is going out to a party anyways so I was free! I'll pack right now!" Eiji raced to his bedroom and shoved clothing into a suitcase. He pulled a coat on his body and ran back downstairs, "I'm visiting a friend for Christmas! I'll see you in a few days!" Eiji's mom laughed, "Alright dear, tell Ash we say hi." "I will!"
The Japanese boy sat on the airplane, restless to see Ash again. The last time they spoke was the hospital. Part of him regrets sending Ash away when they were caught in the hallway. He was told that the blonde had recovered from a stab wound that he left untreated. Eiji and Ash spoke during the one phone call the blonde wanted to make. Eiji wouldn't lie, he missed Ash desperately. He was thankful that Kong and Bones reached out to him in the first place. And now he was up in the air flying towards his friend.
Ash yawned as he sat up. Shorter kicked the door down, "WAKE UP BITCH!" "Good afternoon...? Shouldn't you be with your sister for the holiday?" The blonde's friend grabbed his arm and pulled Ash out of the room, "Come on! We have someone to pick up!" "The hell...? Okay?"
The two walked into the airport. Ash had his hands in his coat pockets and he shook the snow out of his blonde hair. Shorter looked around before grinning, "There he is." Ash looked at the direction Shorter was looking, "Hm? Who...E...eiji?"
Eiji looked at the blonde before tears filled his eyes. He dropped his luggage and ran towards the blonde. Ash did the same. When reaching each other, Eiji jumped into Ash's outstretched arms. Tears ran down both boy's faces as Ash spun around. "Ash!" "Eiji. What are-" Eiji interrupted the boy with a kiss before realizing his actions. The two's faces turned red before Eiji stammered out apology. "Oh...ah...sorry..." "No it's fine. I would like to finished my sentence though." Eiji giggled, relief in his voice. "Okay, go for it." "What are you doing here?" "It's Christmas! Bones called and we set up tickets!" Ash laughed as he finally placed Eiji down, "Guess I'm not just sleeping this year." "Nope!" Eiji tightened his embrace as Shorter came up to the two with Eiji's discarded luggage. "Come on lovermans. Let's go back to the condo."
