"When are you gonna tell him?" Meredith asked as she made a cup of coffee.

"I'm not sure yet, soon though. He told me I was getting fat this morning." Amelia giggled slightly.

"Do you think he'll take the news of you being pregnant badly?" Meredith asked sitting across from Amelia at the table in the lounge.

"I mean Scout was devastated when we moved. So I don't know if that was because he just really loved that apartment, or he just hates change."

"He'll find out sooner or later." Meredith smirked as she got up to leave.

"Wait your not gonna tell me how you told your kids when you were pregnant with Ellis." Amelia asked turning around in her seat.

"Nope. I want to see how you do it." Meredith mischievously smiled.

"So I think tonight should be the night when we tell Scout about the new baby." Amelia told Link as he changed into his pajamas.

"You think? I mean he still hates the house, shouldn't we wait a little longer? I mean he may just lose it." Link chuckled.

"I mean he has to learn how to adapt to change. Maybe he'll absolutely love the idea of a new sibling." Amelia unconvincingly said.

"Yeah I'm sure he'll love the idea of sharing you with someone else. Last week when we were over at Meredith's and Ellis was crawled up onto your lap, I thought Scout was gonna go push her off of you."

"Well it's happening whether he wants a sibling or not." Amelia affirmed hoisting herself off of the bed and making her way to their sons room, Link right behind her.

"Hey bud, can we talk?" The boy's mother asked as she sat down on the three year olds bed. The boy nodded eagerly in response crawling onto his mothers lap.

"What are you telling me?" Scout asked looking at his parent nervously. The last time they asked to talk they told him they were moving to a new house.

"Well, in a couple of months your going to have a little sibling." Link enthusiastically said. Scout sat up, with a confused expression on his face.

"What?"

"Yeah it's in mommy's tummy right now." Link said placing his hand on his girlfriend small bump.

"Can you not?" Scout asked.

"It's going to be a change, but this is a good thing and it's happening." Amelia tried to be firm and state her point.

"I don't want one though. Bailey has sisters and he says that they're annoying. And Leo says Allison always pulls his hair." The little boy pouted.

"Well, that's true. It's not always going to be fun, but you'll always have a friend who'll love you and you'll love them." Amelia tried to reason, only resulting in the boy shaking his head in disagreement.

"Your always saying how you wish you had someone to play with, you'll be able to play games together. I always wanted a sibling when I was a kid." Link added, trying to convince his son that this was a good thing.

"Yeah, and I had four siblings growing up. I always had someone to play with, or talk to, or to get help from." Amelia said, she wasn't going to go into the rockiness of their relationship or how most of their childhood they resented her.

"I'll think about it." Scout concluded, moving to slip under his covers. "Can you please read me a story mommy?"

"Of course." The boy's mother smiled wearily, knowing their son wasn't happy going to be happy with the new change coming in a couple of months.

"How do you think it went?" Amelia asked as she pushed a piece of floss in between her teeth.

"Well, he didn't throw a tantrum like I expected. I think he'll adjust, they'll get along."

"What if they don't? What if they hate each other? What if it's just a competitive fight their whole lives?" Amelia ranted nervously.

"We won't let that happen. It's going to be okay. Our kids will always be loved whether or not they get along. It's gonna be okay." Link tried to calm his girlfriends nerves, but he wasn't convinced himself. If his son didn't want to do something, he wasn't going to comply.

"I just don't want him to turn out like my sisters and I." Amelia confessed as she got into bed to snuggle against him.

"Whatever happens, happens."

"I hate it when you do that." Link placed his hand on the growing bump, smirking.

"So do you think it's going to be a boy or a girl."

"You know what I think about that, Link." Amelia sarcastically rolled her eyes. "But I think it maybe a girl, this just feels different than my other pregnancies."

"Well either way, I can't wait to meet them." Link smiled, pulling his girlfriend into a kiss.
