"Link!" Amelia yelled from the kitchen. "Link!""What?! Are you okay?" Link asked breathlessly as he ran down the stairs into the kitchen.
"You ate all the peanuts!" She accused crossing her arms over her bump.
"You hate peanuts." He told her as he went to double check the cabinets.
"Okay, and?"
"I didn't think you'd want any. I can go get some more."
"Don't bother." Amelia huffed as she walked away.
"Amelia, I really don't mind getting you some. I'm sorry for eating all of them." Link apologized as he followed her into the study.
"I don't even want peanuts anymore."
"Is there anything I can get you?"
"No, don't bother."
"You can't seriously be mad at me."
"Well did it ever occur to you someone else might want some?" She asked spinning around to face him in her chair.
"Everyone in this house hates peanuts, other than me. How was I supposed to know you'd want some?"
"Whatever Link." She turned back around in the chair focusing on her computer.
"Come on, I'm sorry." He apologized again going to kiss the top of her head, only for her to push him away. "Babe, I really am sorry. Is there anything I can get for you?"
"Just leave me alone." She begged on the verge of tears.
"This isn't anything to get upset about." She turned around to face him again, and he knew if looks could kill he'd be dead. Link slowly exited out of the room before she got anymore upset with him. He quietly closed the door to the study to see his daughter running down the stairs. "Where's the fire?" He chuckled.
"I want to play with mommy." Link looked at the closed door than back to his daughter.
"You know. I don't think that's the best idea right now. Do you want to watch a movie together?" He suggested, his wife's hormones had been all over the place resulting in her mood being unpredictable, and on top of that she was a week overdue, so he didn't want his daughter to be caught in the crossfire.
"I want to be with mommy." She huffed, crossing her arms, reminding him of her mother.
"I know, but I think I'm pretty great to hang out with." Addie looked at her father and then to the door of her study where she knew her mother resided, and walked over to the living room and jumped onto the couch.
"I'm picking the movie." Addie declared as she made herself comfortable.
"Okay." Link chuckled wrapping his arm around his daughter as he sat down. "Your picking the movie."
After about ten minutes, Addie finally decided on a movie that she wanted to watch, but not before his son walked into the room asking if he could watch with them. Which took another ten minutes for everyone to agree on a movie.
"Anyone want popcorn?" Link asked, as he stood up to which his two children excitedly agreed. As he stood by the microwave waiting for the popcorn to pop he heard the study door open, to show his wife leaning in the doorway.
"Can I have some?" She innocently asked stepping into the kitchen.
"You were kinda mean to be earlier. I don't know, I'll have to think about it." Link teasingly said.
"I am carrying your baby, which are always very heavy by the way, it's the least you can do for me."
"You're lucky I made enough." He chuckled as he transferred the popcorn into the bowl and made his way back to the living room with his wife.
