I just thought I'd do this because, why not? I will probably have slow updates, tho. It's going to be mostly Sonadow, but I will have other ships.
I'm open to requests. I can do most stuff exept for smut, SonicxSonic, and werehog form.

This is a Sonadow version of "For Forever" from the Broadway musical "Dear Evan Hansen". The song talks about Evan Hansen(Sonic) reenacting a story about him and his "friend" Connor Murphy(Shadow). If you want to know more, you can go find out for yourself by listening to the full soundtrack of Dear Evan Hansen! (Spoiler alert: Connor doesn't make it out of the show alive. Muahahaha!)
I, personally, find it easier to set the scene beforehand so you will know what all of the landscapes will look like and not have to pause the song to read the descriptions.
So, the first scene is just a dinner table in the Murphy house, where Sonic is telling the story to the other Murphys. The table seats four people, which are Evan(Sonic), Connor's sister, Zoey(Amy), And Connor's parents, Larry(Grey wolf) and Cynthia(Golden brown hedgehog with curly hair).
The second scene is on a walkway near the side of a forest. If you look to your left, you just see forest, as far as you look. To your right, there is a fence on that side of the walkway, and an open field, the color, like a more realistic version of green hill zone. In the middle of the field is a single, but giant tree(take note of the tree, it's going to become important).

(Just picture him in those clothes, without the cast during flashbacks. Shadow is just wearing a hoodie, either a burgundy or grey color, you choose. I personally like burgundy)
Use your imagination to fill in the blanks on what's happening in your head where I don't put anything, and really visualize the story! That's the whole point of this one shot, you can make the Sonadow in it as hard or soft as you want, all you need is your imagination.

Sonic is sitting at the table with Connor's family. They are all waiting for him to say something. He, very nervously, starts telling his story.
End of may or early June This picture perfect afternoon We shared
He sees the faces staring back at him, begging for more, and he remembers the ice cream place Connor's mother had mentioned earlier.
Drive the winding country roads Grab a scoop at A La Möde And then, Were there
He starts visualising what a day like this would look like in his head. [Switch to the walkway scene]
An open field that's rimmed with trees We pick a spot and... shoot the breeze Like buddies do
Sonic is getting really nervous now.
Q-quoting songs by our favorite bands And telling jokes no one understands Except us two
And we... talk And take in the view...
Sonic is starting to get the hang of this, and pictures all of this happening in his head, speaking from his heart.
All we see is sky for forever We, let the world pass by For forever Feels like we could go on for forever this way
He looks once again at the faces staring at him.
Two friends On a perfect day
Sonic is now very involved in his story, and continues, switching back to what he sees in his head.
We walk a while and talk about The things we'll do when we get out of school
Bike the Appellation trail Or write a book! Or learn to sail Wouldn't that be cool?
There's nothing that we can't discuss Like girls we wish would notice us But never do
He looks at Zoey. He's had a rush on her for some time.
He looks around and says to me, "There's nowhere else I'd rather be" And I say, "Me too!"
Andwetalk! And talked in the view
Sonic is rushing his words now, afraid he's gone off-track.
We just, talk And take in the view...
[Resume to 1:55, I know it won't let you read the story if you are listening to it like this, but just keep improvising things in your head and you really don't need to read it, it's mostly just the lyrics]

He visualizes him and Shadow walking closer towards the misplaced tree in the field of grass.

He gets more confident in himself as the story goes on, and so does his singing.
All we see is light for forever 'Cause the sun shines bright For forever Like we'll be alright for forever this way,
To friends On a perfect day
And there he goes, Racing towards the tallest tree! From far across a yellow field I hear him calling, "Follow me!"
And,others we go Wondering how the world might look from up so high
One foot after the other One branch, then to another I climb higher and higher I climb 'till the entire sun Shines on my face!
Then I suddenly feel the branch give way...
Sonic is lifted from his brief happy moment as he remembers how he got his cast.
I'm on the ground My arm goes numb I look around And I see him come to get me
He smiles as he remembers what happened next.
He's come to get me And everything's okay...
He pictures Shadow helping him get home, then sharing jokes and wishes as if nothing were wrong. It fills him with the conference to go on.

He looks back at Connor's family. They are in tears. The story really did inspire them. That fills him with joy as he finishes up his song:
Hey fam! This is my first one-shot, but I will definitely be doing more Sonadow ones, and more of other ships. Requests/ideas are always open, and I would love to hear them! I did a Sonic/DEH crossover because I'm a total fanatic for both Sonic and Broadway, Dear Evan Hansen being my favorite show. So, that's all I have for this one. Thanks for reading!
