Let's get one thing straight: Maisy Angelo was not prepared for the apocalypse. Who was? She had grown so accustomed to food being made for her, new clothes once a week, a soft warm bed– truthfully, Maisy was used to the finer things in life.
Now, normalcy was a mere memory of her younger years. Half of the population was gone– wiped out. Monsters roamed the earth, lurking around each corner. The weak we're picked off early and dead within the first week. The strong willed survived, but wished they hadn't.
