One beautiful morning a boy woke up his mom was calling him. "Alexis wake up" she shouted. Alexis slowly woke up he didn't notice the time then he saw his alarm went off but he slept through it. Alexis scrambled and quickly got quickly dressed. "You're going to miss the bus." Alexis quickly ran down the stairs and went into the bus. It was just an other regular day at school. His teacher was sick so they have a substitute. She was really nice but she was only there for one day. The next day his teacher came back Ms. Rodriguez. Then she had a special announcement. Alexis was curious what it was. "Students we have a new student ." He was praying that it would be a guy so he become best friends with him. Someone knocked on Ms. Rodriguez door. She opened the door and it was a girl. "Welcome to my 6th grade class" the teacher said out loud. Alexis is a very quiet kid and doesn't really have any friends. He really wanted to talk to her but he's really awkward and scared.
