Chapter 2: Venus' Future

Venus woke with a start. "Man, that was almost over seven years ago!" She groggily said as she wiped her eyes from the tears that threatened to fall from her face.

"Welp, better get on with the day then." As she got up, she walked to her full body mirror and took a good look at herself. She's grown and changed a lot from seven years ago. She grew two and a half heads taller and her antlers grew as well. Her antlers twisted in the middle while the two others grew out elegantly to each side. But that's not all that changed about her.

As she grew, so did her powers. She discovered that she had the powers of light and the power to heal any sickness or wounds. She discovered the latter when mysterious leaf like appendages started growing from her antlers. She had gotten curious and picked one of them off. It smelled nice and decided to take a bite out of it. Almost immediately, the scratch that she had acquired earlier while training, had completely disappeared. She was amazed by it and thought that it was a one time thing. But she was sorely mistaken. As soon as the next day rolled around, more leaf like appendages started to grow from her antlers like they were trees!

And for reasons that she's unsure of, she has powers of darkness as well. Although it's not as strong as her light powers, it's just as effective when used in combat. Although she doesn't like to use it as much as her light powers. It reminds her too much of Ghost. It's already enough that she has the nail to remind her of him every time she trains. She doesn't need to delve too deeply into the darkness to get lost in the memories of him. At least, not again.

Anywho, Venus also started to get strange markings on her face. She still to this day, has no idea what they mean. But Venus isn't the only one that's changed in the last seven years.

As time grew on, Mona only became more beautiful and elegant. She became skilled with how to use a bow and arrow and how to perform air ballet with her pretty butterfly-like wings 🦋. She also discovered that she has manipulation over the wind and air around her. She could only assume that she was either one of the lucky ones to have this power. Or she inherited it from one of her ancestors. But without her parents to answer her assumptions, she's left in the dark about the entire thing. She's still feisty as ever but shows a bit more modesty when around proper company. But let's loose on those who are stuck up and are jerks.

Leena grew only more graceful, authoritative, powerful, loving, and mature-like. Qualities of a proper and mother-like lady. Or to at least what the children at the orphanage refer to her qualities or just her persona altogether as, Queen-like 👑. She also grew more skilled at using a nail that looks like a Naginata. And by pure accident, she discovered that she had the ability to control over the elements of ice and water. Of course, she discovered that when she accidentally froze Draken in place because he got on her nerves, again. But, remarkably, he's okay! He just had a cold for a couple of days. But he learned the hard way in not to antagonize his cousin when it came to her and her collection of glass figurines. Yes, she has a collection of glass figurines of flowers, animal-like bugs, objects, arts, and things that only seem like a myth or legend. It's one of the only things that she has a hobby/obsession over, that's not related to children, chores, or ice skating/dancing. To which, for the latter, she is very talented in.

Draken on the other hand, only grew more hot and muscle headed. Don't get him wrong, he is smart, just not academically genius smart. He is a prodigy on the battlefield though, is incredibly strong, and is highly protective of his loved ones. And like his cousin, he also wields a nail that looks like a Naginata and also has elemental powers. Only with a slight difference. For his weapon of choice, it is a nail that looks like a double bladed Naginata that is detachable in the middle to become smaller versions of the Naginata. As for his powers, he has the power over the elements of fire🔥and lightning⚡. Now as for his hobbies, besides fighting and pulling pranks, he also likes to do fire dancing and racing vehicle/horse-like bugs for sport. To which, he is a pro at both. It seems that they found out that they inherited their powers from their mother's side of the family. To which, they really don't know how to feel about it. They feel pride that it came from their mothers. But they're a little unsure about the fact that possibly more of their mother's family members could possess the same powers.
