SCARLETT P.O.V.

We have ended to shoot the Black Widow movie some month ago and today start the promoting tour.
I'm hosted at the Ellen Show right now (sorry I didn't put the show you nominated but  I don't know the show very well, plus Ellen usually sets up pranks for the guest) and saying that I'm having a blast is not enough to express what I'm feeling. Coming to Ellen is always a pleasure, I have fun and distract myself from all of my problems.

ELLEN: Scarlett I have a question that all your fans would like to ask right now. Are you and (y/n) still dating?

I chuckled. I knew this question would come and whether I want it or not sooner or later I would have to think about her again, hoping that she is still alive wherever she is right now.

SCARLETT: I can assure everyone that we are perfectly fine. She went away with the army for a mission two months ago, thats why you havent seen us together in the last time.

ELLEN: Wow. That should be hard for the both of you, I mean you two seem so close I bet that it hurt to stay away from each other for such a long time.

SCARLETT: Yeah being away for so long sucks and I really miss my girl like crazy.

ELLEN: How can you live like that? Arent you scared by the fact that she could not come home?

SCARLETT: I face that fear every single day of my life, but I'm happy and proud of (y/n) she is fighting for her country, but most important she is doing what she always wanted and I'm no one to force her to quit her job.

Thinking about all of those things causes my stomach to clench in fear, what if this time she doesn't come back to me as she promised? Would it be selfish to ask her to quit the job of her dream, just because I want her safe at home with me?

ELLEN: Here.- she says handing me a tissue. I was so focused on my thoughts that I didn't realize I was crying.

I take the tissue and thank Ellen with a small smile. What a shame crying in front of thousands of people, if (y/n) saw me now she would probably make fun of me for the rest of our life.

SCARLETT: I'm sorry this is so pathetic.

ELLEN: Its ok, just make sure that you invite all of us to the wedding and no one will know about this.

Everyone burst out in laughter and me with them.

SCARLETT: Ill let you know so you can free your schedule!

ELLEN: Good. Now let's go back to the movie shall we.

(Y/N) P.O.V.

I'm walking nervously in the backstage of the Ellen show, I'm so excited! I've planned this night in every detail helped by Scarlett's manager and Ellen herself. Since I'm not an ordinary person who, after a month spent fighting, wait for the love of her life layed on the couch in a cozy blanket, I decided to surprise my girlfriend.
As soon as I hear Ellen say "Good. Now let's go back to the movie shall we." I start walking out the stage trying to be as quiet as possible. Everyone in the room starts staring at me ready to greet me, but quickly I make signs to them to stay quiet and I approach Scarlett. When I'm near her back I wrap my hand around her shoulder and kiss her cheek. She turns around slowly muttering "what the hell" and as soon as she sees me she jumps out the armchair and hugs me.

SCARLETT: Are you really here? O my God I can't believe it!

(Y/N): It's me babe, I'm home.

I kiss her to reassure that I'm here for real and she is not dreaming. We hug each other for a while and share some kisses before I sit on the armchair with Scarlett on my knees and we go back to the interview. As much as I love my job, I love staying at home with my babe more.
