How are you? Hope you are doing good. 
Anyway this is a short one based on an idea I found on pinterest (best place ever, I can spend hours on there) and a real experience. Cause yes, this thing really happened in real life to me and my beastie rebecca_montagni, only difference the morning after we found ourselves with our ass on the ground cause the mattress had deflated. 😂
Anyway, story of my life apart, hope you enjoy the chapter.

“Imagine your OTP having to share an air mattress for the night. Person A is already in bed and comfortable, and person B, very tired from the day, flops down on the other side, thus launching A into the air.”

You and Scarlett are going to visit your parents during spring break. Since your brother is coming too with his wife and kids, you and your fiance will leave him in the guest room while you and Scarlett will sleep in the living room on the air mattress that you used during movie night when you were kids. 
You had just come back from hiking with your whole family. You all had a blast: you had a walk in the woods, then a beautiful and yummy picnic in a park. Scarlett played with you nephew for the whole afternoon and soon you tagged along with them. That’s why right now you are drained and as soon as you get home you collapse on the sofa. 
“Babe your mom made dinner, come and eat my love.” Scarlett comes to tell you while caressing your cheek gently. You whine not wanting to get up due to your hurting and aching body. “Come on lazy girl, you have to eat something, then you can go to bed.”  she murmurs to you “Only if you pick me up and bring me to the dining room.” you protest. She chuckles before picking you up bridal style bringing you to dinner. 
The meal is going well, everyone is chatting about the most different things, the kids keep stressing Scarlett to no end while you’re almost falling asleep over your chicken nuggets. Your girl pinch your arm lightly trying to keep you awake. 
“(Y/N), are you that tired dear?” your mom asks you and you only nod while Scarlett answers for you “Yes mrs (Y/L/N). I think it’s better if she goes to sleep.” “Yeah it’s better if I go to bed. I don’t want to fall with my face on the plate.” you joke “Then come, I’ll set the bed for you dear.” your mom says sitting up and going to the living room followed by you and your fiance. 
You two help your mom to inflate the mattress and search the bed sheets and as soon as the bed is ready you lay on it not caring if you’re still in your normal clothes. Scarlett sits next to you making the bed dip “Sleep tight honey. I’ll stay up a little longer then I’ll join you love.” she whispers to you with a lovely tone. 
“Love you Scarly, night.” you whisper back smiling. She pecks your lips before going back to the dining room with the others.
You fall asleep almost immediately after she leaves the room, but you wake up when you hear all your family wishing the others good night. You stir awake when your girl approaches the bed “Shhh baby. Go back to sleep, it’s just me.” she whispers while changing in her pijama. You answer with a light groan and a sleepy smile, then you roll on the other side. 
You’re on the verge of falling into a deep sleep again, but in that moment Scarlett flops on the mattress launching you in the air. 
You let out a high pitched scream while your girlfriend simply laughs “Scarlett Ingrid Johansson!” you boom “I’m sorry love, I didn’t mean to. But admit it, it was so funny!” she laughs, you glare at her but she still doesn’t stop laughing, you pout. “Come on lovely, I know you want to do that again.” she teases. But deep down she’s right, it was really funny. So you grin at her and she understands immediately. Scarlett stands up right away, you fix yourself in a comfortable position on the bed.
Needless to say that sleep is now long forgotten and the two of you will spend the whole night jumping on the bed giggling in excitement like two five years old kids stuffed with sugar. 
The catapult on the air mattress will be your favourite pastime during this vacation, and you’ll be sure to buy one as soon as you get back home.
