9.Bonding Day 2 Part 3

Lance

Ha! Take that Keith. Didn't think I had a sword, huh. Well here ya go. I had a very smug look on my face when I saw his surprised expression. Only then did I realize how close I was to Keith, apparently he did too and at the same time with a blush creeping up in both our faces. I quickly pushed him off so things didn't get too awkward. But why is this so weird and awkward. I don't like mullet head...   yeah I don't like him he has a stupid mullet and he's a mean hothead, but heck he's not much of a hothead anymore. Plus his mullet is kinda hot on him. Ughhhh what am I saying right now. Okay Lance concentrate on the fight, you gotta beat Keith.

This time I came at him full force but he dodged quickly, a little too quickly for comfort. I found out he was now behind me and in the nick of time I clashed my red and blue sword with his darker one. He then pivoted around me and tried to attack again. For a moment there I thought I was done for, but thankfully my instincts kicked in from old training and I found it in me to duck, and swiftly swept my leg to knock the mullet man down. I apparently caught him off guard since it would be an understatement to say he looked shocked.

"How did you do that?!" He asked with the tiniest of voice cracks.

I honestly had no idea how, so I just shrugged. "I have no idea, it just happened out of nowhere."

"Come on that had to be a practiced move, I mean you can't just accidentally knock someone over like that. And you also said that you were out of shape earlier, so either that was an instinct or you have seriously been working on your reflexes."

"Aww, is mullet head jealous of my awesome skills," I said teasingly.

"NO!" He replied with anger etched in his voice though his face was betraying him being red out of embarrassment.
I had never seen him so embarrassed but it was surprisingly cute.

" Is Keithy boy embarrassed now," and Keith's face turned even more red at the name, "Look he's blushing, how cute," I teased.

He then tries to hide his face in his hands, and looks at me through his fingers, "Okay, Okay I was jealous now please stop," it comes out as more of a squeak and I almost doubled over laughing. How cute can this dude get. It's so easy to tease him. I wish I could do it more.

"Okay Keith I'll stop, but first you have to admit that I have amazing skills,"

"Fine," he grumbled, " you have amazing skills," while he said this his voice was just barely above a whisper, and his arms were crossed.

" Huh, what did you say I couldn't hear you," I said mockingly

Then Keith replied much louder than needed, " I said, YOU HAVE AMAZING SKILLS," whoops I made him mad.
I saw something weird with his eyes, they almost looked catlike with slitted pupils in his violet eyes.

"Keith I think something weird is going on in your eyes, their like a cats eyes right now. That's not normal right?"

The dark haired boys eyes then returned to normal and said, "Really? I don't think they've done that before, that is weird."

"Yeah you might want to find out what it is since it might be related to the fact that you're part Galra," I said thoughtfully.

"Maybe, I'll ask Shiro about it later I think he said something like that once. So anyway, do you want to keep training with me or..."

"Sure, I'll train some more. We probably need it for our upcoming mission anyway." I replied

Keith

I have to admit that move Lance did was pretty impressive, it's pretty hard to catch me off guard like that. That too he did it without practice or thought. Of course I was a little jealous, I mean I've been training for years and he did that out of instinct. Then, of all things he had to tease me, which the only good thing that came out of that was the fact that the Cuban boy was returning back to his normal, teasing self. It was so weird to watch him act so serious with Allura when they were together which I was kind of grateful for, but then after she, you know, he looked even sadder and serious that he lost an important part of himself. Lance was the glue that holds the team together, so if Lance isn't cheerful as usual I don't think it would be good for our teamwork and Voltron wouldn't be the same.

The taller boy continued his teasing and ended up making me pretty agitated. I kinda snapped a little. He also mentioned something about my eyes being narrow like cat eyes. He looked kind of worried actually, it probably meant that wasn't supposed to happen. I think I remember Shiro telling me that happened once while I was training with him and I had gotten mad. It probably was the same thing again. I would go talk to Shiro about it later so I shrugged it off to change the subject, and we continued training.

                              One shower and a few hours later

Lance

After we finished training we both agreed that we should watch a movie with the whole team. So now everyone is currently in the living room waiting to choose the movie.

"Do you guys want to watch a Disney movie or a different kind?" I asked very cheerfully.

"What's got you in a good mood?" Pidge asked smirking at me, making my face go red.

"Can I not be happy for no reason?" I replied

"Oh, your red face is telling me there is a reason so spill," Pidge demanded.

"Nope."

"Fine, fine, but I vote Disney movie"

"Yeah me too,"Hunk agreed

I looked towards Shiro and Keith, "How about you two?"

"Uh, I don't really watch too many movies so I guess I'll agree with Pidge and Hunk's option." Keith replied sounding kind of embarrassed."

"Okay then it's settled. We are watching a Disney movie. I'm thinking Big Hero 6." The others nodded in agreement.

"Sure," Pidge said

Then we started the movie and Hunk definitely started crying when the main characters brother died and when baymax sacrificed himself . That was about all that happened.
After the movie we all went back to our designated houses and went to sleep.
I sat in bed thinking about all the event that happened today, and what would be different if Allura were here. Then random things started coming to mind. Keith is cute when he is embarrassed. And with that thought in mind I fell asleep.

Yay I finished and only 1 day late. I tried to make a longer one since I was out a few weeks. I also really recommend the story
