   Okay so i'm going to use she/her pronouns for pidge since that's how it was in the show

She had just been told by her dad that the lions just arrived back on earth. Her, being the curious, little tech genius she was, wanted more answers but her dad was apparently 'busy'. So instead she decided to find out herself by trying to hack into her dad's phone so she could find out how he knew this. Of course there was a much easier way to do this but the short girl was just straight up bored.

    After finding that Lance had contacted her dad she texted Lance

well yeah they landed by allura's statue

well her eyes glowed and then they came like a minute later

So maybe Allura's statue is somehow connected to the lions. But why would this happen now. I should probably just wait till tomorrow its getting kinda late. She thought before she prepared everything she needed tomorrow.

The morning of the meeting 

Lance stood infront of the door to the Garrison waiting for something to happen. He was wearing his signature olive green jacket, but instead of outgrowing it the jacket had actually felt larger around his tall, lanky body. Just looking at the building resurfaced memories, most of them with Allura. He felt his Altean marks glow faintly making them visible on the cloudy morning. His thoughts were cut off when he heard a familiar, husky voice behind him.

"Hey Lance" He turned around to see a smiling, pale young man with a mullet.

Keith's POV 

I saw Lance standing before the entrance to the Garrison looking like he was deep in thought. I don't blame him though anyone would be reminded of old memories after all we all did together. I hadn't seen him in a few months but he didn't look well at all, he had gotten even skinnier than he was before, and it appeared as if he had slept less than 3 hours last night. His hair had also gotten longer; almost enough for me to start calling him mullet. I smiled at the thought.

" Hey Lance" I said

He turned around to face me; his Altean marks were glowing telling me he must have been thinking about Allura " Hi Keith, how are you doing"

"I'm alright, how about you" I made a worried expression toward the end.

"I'm fine" he said quickly; he smiled but I could easily tell it was fake. 

We both headed inside to join the others who were already there.

3rd person   

All the former paladins were there except Allura of course along with Sam Holt, Coran and for some reason Romelle. They were wearing their signature clothes, Pidge was wearing a different sweatshirt but it was still green. 

Sam started by saying, " Now that we are all here, Keith, you may begin."

"Okay, so as we know the lions arrived back on earth yesterday close to Allura's statue."

"Yes and Lance told me yesterday that it happened after Allura's eyes glowed so I was thinking they have a connection." Pidge added

"Okay, and I think my last mission had a link with it, our mission was to retrieve information from a Galra ship to know why they were harvesting crystals from a Balmera. The mission was successful, but the crystals that were being harvested were being collected for an attack on Arus ordered by some guy named Commander Arzak, " Keith continued.

"But why would he want to attack Arus?" Shiro asked

"Because in the core of Arus there is quintessence so powerful one drop of it could power 4 zaiforge cannons," Keith replied with a dark expression on his face.

I finished the 3rd chapter. I hope you guys liked it. Just so you know I basically come up with sentences after I start so I kinda have a basic idea of what's going to happen but some of it is a surprise for me as well. I hope you had a wonderful day.
