I tiredly open my eyes to see an unfamiliar bedside table.

I quickly shot up, realizing that i was not in my cabin and my head hurts so bad.

Remembering the whole thing made me panic Where was i? and who's cabin was i in?! I thought looking for my phone only for it to be gone, standing up from the bed i was laying on, adrenalin pumping through my veins.

I take a quick look on my surroundings, it was an old dusty cabin with a fireplace which was slightly burning.

I run for the door and open it harshly only to be greeted with cold air.

I shiver harshly before looking at the forest i was in. 

Everything was foggy and it was super dark, the trees had no leaves and were dying or.. already dead.

I cautiously take a step, every step i took there was a loud creak following me, i was getting scared every second.

I didn't realize i was trudging on the dirt road when a loud crunch and the change of winds snap me out of my trance, i rarely get scared of something but it was getting scary.

"F̲i̲n̲a̲l̲l̲y̲ ̲y̲o̲u̲ ̲w̲o̲k̲e̲ ̲u̲p̲" A rough voice echo's through the forest making my heart accelerate fast.

I quickly turn around to see a tall figure leaning on a tree, he wasn't human.

He. wasn't. human.

His skin was a light grey, he was skinny, very skinny that his bones showed, not only that, his body had tiny holes, i slowly look at him in the eyes only to meet pure white ones. 

Ok, now i was sweating, like sweating hard, it was getting hard to breath it felt like i was paralyzed.

I force myself to talk "W-what the hell are y-you!?" I yell out, i see him clutch his heart with a pained expression on his face "Ouch, that's not how you should treat someone, who carried you all the way to there cabin" He says his voice not so rough anymore but was now in a tone of sarcasm.

But that doesn't mean I've calmed down infact it scared me more at how calm he responded "The names Mormo, im a ghoul as you can see." He deadpans.

"A-a... a ghoul?! Don't you eat humans?!" I take a step back now knowing he was a ghoul and i was his dinner, he raises his hands up and sighs making me confused "Jeez, off all the folklores about me it had to be the one with me eating humans" He says in anger which made me even more confused.

"Anyways kid, your stuck here for god knows how long so you don't have a choice but to follow me." He says turning his back to me, which kinda pissed me off more than scaring me.

"And why should i trust YOU?! Your a monster for crying out loud!" I yell back taking a step forward at his retreating figure "Meh, i don't know, you do you" I sigh knowing that he wasn't going to eat me and i can go home by myself.

"Oh and by the way, the things in this forest will kill you if there's nothing guiding you" He finishes.

I pause for a moment before quickly running to him "Wait WHAT?!!" I yell out in confusion and fear, what in the hell does he mean? "What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" I say which i heard him chuckle "What's so funny?!" Okay i was more irritated than scared at this rate.

"You see, this forest is called the      "Madness Forest" Where basically monsters like me live. and this particular forest, will kill any human being who is alone on the forest, many people have died in here before, Because they wouldn't follow me." He says which makes me shudder at the thought that i was in the madness forest they call. 

"By the way where in the hell are we going?" I question, which he gave no response to.

I observe him this time.

now that i've seen him more clearly He wore something that resembled a robe. it was brown with golden streaks on its edges. His shoulder blades had broken iron pads.

"Were you a soldier back then?" i ask not even focusing on where we were going anymore "Nah i was more of a blacksmith, before i died" He says before stopping which made me confuse once again.

I look at his direction and there i saw it.

Fire.

I've always seen fire but seeing this one, feels like something is tugging me to not stop staring at it.

"Oi kid don't look-" Mormo was cut off by a fiery ghost who popped out from the fire.

I felt the tugging stop and i Shriek in fear as to what the hell that fire creature is.

It immediately locks eyes on me, Fire meeting my E/C Ones.

"Aweee a human? you didn't have to Mormo~!" The fire being said before lounging at me.

I pull my hands up my head in defense, i was scared yet again but this time i thought Welp... i had a good life
