23: Team 8's New Abilities

Kiba and akamaru was already been irritated. He was already finding his teammates for 3 hours. But he only see paper bombs and traps which he always fall. If not for Akamaru he will not be freed to those traps.

"Damn traps! Its getting to my nerves! My sense of smell was too useless right now!" You can see how defeated Kiba looks right now.

"Already give up?" Ashura's clone said without a mocking tone. If it was an enemy, he was so sure that he will mock him which makes him think his self more useless.

"You and your partner are two. And tried not to rely to your sense of smell. You need to find another advantage to your self other than your smell. Because there are always a ninja outside who can block and divert their smells to other so they can escape. Remember this, you are two which makes the two of you more powerful than the others. It was your advantage, all you need to do is to find way on how to know your target's location without using your sense of smell. You have a lot of potential Kiba, you and Akamaru can be a powerful duo in the future," he smile and disappear to his front while Kiba sit under the tree for a while.

"A way to track someone's location without using the sense of smell? What could it be? My specialties are sense of smell so what is it?" He sigh and close his eyes to think but because of this, he subconsiously hear the nature sound. Even the tiniest sound of the falling leaves, he can hear it.

He was shock and open his eyes. He look for it but only found nothing. He breath deeply and close his eyes. He focus himself and consentrate to his surrounding.

After that, he can now hear a lot of things. He put a little chakra focus to his ear to experiment and because of that, his sense of hearing manage to become sharp.

"Right! A dogs sense of Hear is also strong but not strong like their smell," Kiba exclaim.

After that the clone popped again just a minutes after the clone who's with Hinata popped up.

"Hmm... Kiba manage to learn not to rely to his smell," Ashura said.

After that the strong radius of Hinata's ability and Kiba's sense of hear manage to spread around to find each of them.

Just like Kiba, Shino always find a decoy and traps while gathering information around to know where was his teammates. Its been three hours but he can't still find a clue where they are. The only difference he had to Kiba is that he did not fall to any traps.

Ashura and Indra said was to find the teammates first before finding them. They also said that the radius of the whole activity was the whole village. He was still on the forest as if he was only walking around a particular place. He try to mark the trees but his own conclusion is wrong.

"Hey! Still don't have a clue where your teammates are?" Ashura drop in front of Shino with a smile.

"What do you want?" Shino ask.

"Hey! I am here to give you clue, you know? You and your team actually finding each other for three hours so we decided to give you clue. Of course it was up to you how can you pick it up," Shino nodded as he was still mourning to many of his insect that died from the span of 3 hours.

Many of his Shokaichu died from tracking a decoy because of explosion.

"Whats the clue?" Shino ask. He was desperate actually. He don't want any of his insect to die again.

"Well, you are an Aburame right? Your specialties are insect why don't become one? Any ways you need to track your teammates since because it will be really, really hard to track the original me and the others. You are smart enough to figure out whats inside my message, see ya!" Ashura's clone disappear but still near to Shino.

Shino repeats what Ashura said to him and consentrate a bit.

"Become one of my insect?" He murmur. He tried to transform to an insect using henge and look around using the abilities of his hedge.

While flying, he can detect the falling leaves and predict in a second on what will happen as if it was his instinct.

Because of this, he grin and deactivate his henge. He already figure out how to track his teammates. Because of this Ashura' clone popped up again just a second after the clone with Kiba popped up.

On the hokage faces Ashura stand up and grin.

"In just a minute or seconds, they will track each other now. So be prepare. You have a full of brilliant genin Kurenai-san. I just give them a few words and they manage to push their selves into their limit and unlock another abilities to track," Ashura chuckle but Kurenai was shock.

She knows her genin was one of the weakest in the team who past right now. Their teamworks was not that high and their abilities to track only manage to reach a middle genin level.

Hinata was too shy to express herself making her potential block by it and don't like to hurt anyone in sparring. Kiba and Akamaru only want to listen to each other and they had an arrogant attitude making them overestimate their abilities. While Shino had a problem to his social status since he can't express his self to others because of isolation surrounding he grew up. This fact problem blocks their potential to unleash their full abilities.

"You will me a whole new born genin team later so be prepare kurenai-san," Ashura said and prepare his things needed later. He also told Kurenai to stay silent and reduce her breath if she can detect their presence later.
