After work I cleaned every table, washed dishes, and mopped the floors. I lock up after after helping my grandma to her car and start my what feels like a long walk home. After getting home, I take a 30 minute shower and do my after work facial routine. I walk out the bathroom screaming when I see someone sitting on my bed before calming down realizing it's my best friend Amelia.
" What have I told you about using your key when it's not an emergency, you scared the crap outta me", she laughs and hugs me, " I'm so sorry bestie." I shake my head and put on some pajama shorts and big t-shirt.
" I just came to see if you wanted to come to this small dinner my boss is hosting, it's not anywhere fancy it's just a small dinner and he said it was okay that I invite you." I look at her as she smiles and shake my head, " MeMe you know I don't like being around people I I don't know or barely know and plus I have homework that's due at midnight I need to finish," she sighs and says " I promise we won't be out long Anna and I'm pretty sure you finished more than half of the homework so when I get back her in two hours you better be dressed because I'm not taking no for an answer."
She kissed my head and walks out leaving me to finish my Science, biology, and Nutrition homework on my 2016 MacBook laptop. After finishing my work, I sit in bed for at least 15 more minutes contemplating on if I should get dressed for this dinner or not. I finically decide to go get dressed and put on a little make and put my hair into a pineapple bun.
It's been so long since I had been out I started to think it was a bad idea and get undress but was stopped when my best friend walked in. " Well doesn't my bestie look good tonight."
I smile and look down at myself, " Are you sure this doesn't look to simple or nothing right?" She shake her head not and hand me my purse, " You look great and getting thicker might I add." We both laugh and head out through the front door locking it. " You look fantastic too beard friend." We get in her Mercedes Benz and head to the restaurant.
